This is the official Civil War prediction thread and this is where we predict civil war in the USA.

I’m thinking more and more that there will be a war.
I do abhor all kinds of war, and don’t adore!

I do not mean to be a bore, but I really rreally think, more and more, that we are in… for civil war.

So that’s it, buy a rifle and learn to use it.
 
Not really a war. Just an increase in the frequency and scale of the uncoordinated terrorism we've seen from MAGA

Trump can hardly get supporters to show up at a rally. And you think they're ready to start a war? Get serious.

That is assuming Harris wins...a hell of big assumption.
My concern is Trump , if elected,launches such repressive policies that triggers mass protests and he uses violence to surpress them, and that leads to actual armed resistence.
 
Fortunately or Unfortunately any uprising/insurgency (unless the insurgency gets access to WMDs) will soon be suppressed.

Suppose it does take out the federal government. The states won't necessarily re-unionize.
 
I've always thought "civil war" in the U.S. would look like either localized communal violence and/or high profile terrorist attacks between extremist factions and against politicians like post-war Italy.

I don't think there will be a big war like old times. Still terrifying. It would be what rightwingers think civil unrest of summer 2020 was multiplied by ten.

If there is one it'll be because of the blue states and cities splitting after getting finally fed up of the red states simultaneously leeching off them, trying to control their freedoms and decrying them as traitors.
