Out of all the voting demographics worth trying to court on a purely political level the tired, cause purity progressive are the least worth wasting time on.

You have the exact same "The system isn't perfect, burn it down and start anew because I think my philosophy will rise from the ashes" attitude as the Trumpers and you're just as worth trying to turn into a useful actual citizen.

And seriously... grow up. You think we think Harris is perfect? No. But we're not butt hurt she isn't personally developing a message to kiss our asses personally before we vote for her over Trump. You're not better then us because you are.

It's not so much that the right has beaten the media into submission but that the media was always part of the right wing millieu, being playthings of the rich.
 
For the record, Cheney isn't the only significant Republican campaigning for Harris...

The Media STILL isn't calling for Trump for step down after running Biden out of the race by constantly running "We're not saying Biden should step down, but here's a list of 10 reasons people are saying he should step down" stories for 6 months straight.

One 3rd class Democratic Road Kill Scrapper said Biden should step down and CNN acted like they'd been waiting for somebody to bring it up and yes they drove the "Biden should step down" narrative hard.

Meanwhile Mr. Rape Face Von Launchacoup who has old school, vanguards of his party saying "This man is an existential threat to the concept of democracy, I have Satan's number on speedial and even I'm telling you DO NOT ELECT THIS MAN" isn't getting "Should he step down?" think pieces written about him every 4 seconds.

well i think some media outlets have basically been correctly calling him unfit for various reasons on a daily basis for close to a decade, and then rightfully did so with biden. the media outlets that haven’t with trump but were happy to with biden are not responsible enough to their viewers to do that.

Well, she's settled on her solution to that challenge: fixate on how wonderful the Cheneys are; blather every chance you get about how proud & honored you are to get their support, and even get one of them on stage at rallies! It's the perfect way to campaign against yourself & enhance your odds of losing; you get to demotivate your own base because they're sick of watching politicians like you abandon them to move closer & closer to the other party and they don't like the Cheneys, while not risking bringing any votes over from the other party because they don't like them either!

No individual's assessment of the Cheneys matters; not TGZ's, not varwoche's, not mine, not anybody's. For an election campaign, all that matters is what most people in general out there think of them overall. Associating onesself with unpopular people is a counterproductive campaign move regardless of whether some individual somewhere out there agrees with that general popular consensus about them or not. And unpopular people is exactly who she's sticking to, including not just Cheneys but also Biden. And on top of that she's talking about putting Republicans in her Cabinet, which, although it could include people who are popular with her opponents who won't vote for her anyway, is bound to be people who are unpopular with her own party's base, which is the people whose votes she can get or lose.

Not to America. Trump is threatening to tear it all down. Trump is the first Presidential candidate to propose allowing the police the ability to break the law to discourage others from breaking the law.
