Lionking, I can guarantee that Hezbollah are right now like a hive of yellowjacket hornets who have been disturbed. They're going to lash out, in the short term.
However, from what we're noticing this past week, the Israelis have excellent informants and collaborators throughout Lebanon (and inside Iran). The entire Hezbollah organization has been compromised (from within, it appears).

Israel has killed off nearly all senior Hez leadership, completely disrupted their communications, and seems to have infiltrated their ranks with informants.

I am no fan of the Israeli government, many of their problems are self made stemming from religious motivational decision making.

But they are really effective when it comes to killing people, and the past week has hit Hezbollah harder than it has ever been hit before via leadership decapitation and loss of secure communication.

Not to mention the sheer number of secondary explosions seen after airstrikes - Hezbollah is getting it's ammo blown up before it gets a chance to use it.

If Hez wants to hit back really hard, they'll have to spend a few years rebuilding their organization. They can strike back now, but not very effectively.

Iran will strike for Hezbollah. The killing of their leader demands a strong retaliation. This is different than killing the leader of Hamas or some other terror group.
