The Tim Walz campaign, and the ******** attacks upon him.

More likely a **** Tucker made up thing.

So many people on the right are still thumping the "Walz is a scoundrel" line. Many of these people (including Carlson and our local GOP critters) don't score very high themselves on the charisma scale. They just don't understand how likable Tim Walz is and therefore how hypocritical and petty they sound. They honestly don't know how to address a candidate that people actually like, versus simply the one people are willing to settler for.

I don't think they understand the appeal of someone like Tim Walz. This guy is that smart jovial neighbor always willing to lend a hand. He's not constantly worried about himself and getting his. He's never spent a minute trying to get rich.

It's one thing to argue his policy positions are bad. But trying to demonize this guy is downright stupid and a waste of time. They look worse each time they do it. And it's time they don't have.

I find it hysterical that many of these same people were complaining about Harris being difficult to work for and having a high staff turnover.

Speaking of hysterical, in the last week or so my gf has twice received the same republikin flyer in the mail that would, in an earlier & simpler time, have been seriously baffling. One side cried out that Harris was out to destroy Soc. Security and Medicare! With an unflattering pic of her to prove it!

The other side carried a smilingly statesmanlike pic of Trumped, and claimed in boldface that he was determined! to rescue SSecurt. & Medicare.

IOW, this fairly expensive heavy paper, 4-color, glazed flyer presented diametrically opposite lies about both candidates, in defiance of ascertainable facts. Time was, you'd assume that somebody didn't look at the printer's proof, and that a major party had blundered. Embarrassing, but it happens.

In our hilarious times, this is exactly what the Trumpries put over as True Truth, and by god it'll lodge as exactly that in the crevices of the MAGAmind.

Assault, yes. Beating up, no. When someone is beaten up, they have injuries of some sort. The ANC employee sustained to injuries.

"BEAT SOMEONE UP definition: 1. to hurt someone badly by hitting or kicking them repeatedly" (Cambridge Dictionary)

"BEAT UP: 1. (tr, adverb)
to strike or kick (a person), usually repeatedly, so as to inflict severe physical damage" (Collins Dictionary)

She wasn't punched, hit, kicked, or bruised in any way. Being "abruptly pushed aside" as the Army described it, is not "beating her up".
"An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside.

She was not beaten up. Period.

Meanwhile, as their isn't a thread for the awfulness of Vance, here's an example of his scummines.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/aug/31/jd-vance-miss-teen-usa

I think this article demonstrates what a truly POS Vance is. The more I know about him, the more I dislike him as a person regardless of his politics.

In 2007, Upton was 17 and considered suicide due to the bullying she received after her infamous screw up during the Miss Teen USA competition (owned by Trump). She was even told she should kill herself for her stupidity.

Seventeen years later, Vance uses a clip of her saying “BREAKING: I have gotten ahold of the full Kamala Harris CNN interview.” He was calling Harris stupid.
The ironic thing is that Upton is a Trump supporter.

But what really shows Vance's true colors are his remarks following the backlash:

Vance in turn appeared Friday on CNN, dismissed the video of Upton as little more than “a 20-year-old meme” and urged Upton to “laugh it off”.

“Politics has got way too lame,” Vance said to anchor John Berman. “You can have some fun while making an argument to the American people about improving their lives.

“I’m not going to apologize for posting a joke – but I wish the best for Caitlin and hope she’s doing well.”

Vance gave zero thought as to how his using Upton so cruelly for his own political agenda would affect her or her family. Frankly, after this, the "couch screwing" joke are fair game, and we can "have some fun" with the "joke". He can just "laugh it off". Jerk.

Only liberal losers care about other people's feelings.

He was once seen wearing a paper crown proclaiming him to be the "Burger King," when in fact no such position exists.

Breaking: Tim Walz cannot create money behind your ear. It's just a trick. He was hiding it in his hand the whole time.

Rumor has it he also steals children's noses. But he claims it's just his thumb.

And he's done it before and since:

I didn't think my opinion of Vance could get any worse, but what I read in that article managed to do so.

What I see is a very insecure, little man who needs to counter that insecurity by reducing women to little more than servile breeding stock and men who don't hold the same hyper-masculine views. He reminds me of bigots who feel better about themselves by making 'others' less. I think he'd love for The Handmaid's Tale to be reality.

That Trump would pick this POS as a running mate is not surprising.

Breaking: after exclaiming “That’s crazy” to a televised NFL play gone wrong, it’s discovered Tim Walz is not actually a licensed psychologist.
