The rift between Pelosi and BIden is interesting.
I suspect that Pelosi was the first really big name Democrat to call for Biden to step down has something to do with that. She was right, but I can get why Biden might have some resentment about it.

Because Pelosi was just as old, out of touch, and part of the "old Democratic party" as Biden but she wasn't in a position where that mattered.

I don't find it that interesting. But I agree with the rest. I sort of view it a bit like an all star athlete being told it's time to hang it up. No one wants to be told that. He'll get over it.

Dammit, I should have thought of that comparasion.
At least Biden got out before the totally embarased himself a la Willie Mays or Mohammed Ali. Mays' last couple of years and Ali's last few fights were painful to watch.

Following the links, I had not heard the controversy about his eating/not eating a dog. In his usual wise fashion he notes that he would eat almost anything, except a person, a monkey or a dog, that it was a goat, and that you are what you eat. At least he's not one of those infamous cat ladies.

Not to mention his nutty ideas. I can remember that there was some talk of putting him in charge of the EPA, which quickly got shot down when his screwball beliefs about vaccines and election fraud in Ohio in 2004 were revisited.

That's the highest award you can get as a civilian. It's the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honour but civilian version.

The Medal of Honor is for "losers and suckers" obviously.

Offer him a job as Temporary Clerical Officer (or the equivalen US civil service lowest grade) on a twelve week contract to cover holidays. And when he refuses, walk.

The fact is that Robert Óg staying in the race is likely to help Harris not hinder her.
