I'm in the historic Musk Trump twitter space and all you can hear is heavy breathing and the occasional fart

“The biggest threat is not global warming, where the ocean is going to rise one-eighth of an inch over the next 400 years,” Trump said. “The biggest threat is nuclear warming.”
This, And it will only get worse with Trump.
I honestly think he though he had it in the bad, and then things changed, and he does not know how to cope.
This is not a good sign for the Trump campaign:
Newsweek
Donald Trump's campaign is said to be concerned about private polling in Ohio...One concern for the campaign was two private polls conducted in Ohio recently by GOP pollsters, which have not been seen by Newsweek, reportedly showing Trump receiving less than 50 percent of the vote against Harris in the state.
(Note that even if polls show some weakness for the republicans, it does not automatically mean they will lose. Polling at the state level often uses smaller sample sizes which makes them less accurate. Still, I can see it being a cause for concern.)
Ohio used to be a swing state before it started going solidly republican. Even if the republicans are likely to keep Ohio, the fact that polls show weakness means that the party will have to spend valuable campaign money to keep from falling behind (so less money to spend on other states.)
Umm... Nuclear Warming?I've just been reading a summary:
Consider this gem:
“The biggest threat is not global warming, where the ocean is going to rise one-eighth of an inch over the next 400 years,” Trump said. “The biggest threat is nuclear warming.”
Re: Trump/Musk interview on Twitter...
Umm... Nuclear Warming?
What exactly is that supposed to be?
'Nobody talks about nuclear...the biggest problem we have in the whole world. It's not global warming, it's nuclear warming,' Trump told Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview that aired Tuesday night.
'And all it takes is one madman...and it's only a matter of seconds. You don't have to wait 200 to 300 years for it to happen,' he said.
Trump also expressed concern about Russia's nuclear weapons capability and its impact on Ukraine. He argued that while many people talked about Ukraine's situation, Russia is 'sitting back.'
'First of all, Ukraine is being obliterated, but let’s not even talk nuclear. Let’s say it wasn’t. Let’s say they were doing better than anticipated. If he (Russian President Vladimir Putin) decided to use his second form of destruction, which is nuclear, that’s the end of that,' he added.

It works, but it carries a whole lot of spurious and now inaccurate tracking and analytic data. Look for the bit that starts "?ref_src=". You can delete that and everything after it.Wow, that's quite a link. Hope it opens....
Just ran across a nice new billboard campaign.
I don't think that money is an issue for the Trump campaign.
If they really need some, Musk is gonna give him a few 100 millions if needed.
Hell, Musk alone could boost and completely finance Trump's campaign.
How... weird.Trump told Elon that he would leave the country and go to Venezuela if he loses the election.
How... weird.
Why Venezuela? Republicans have been suggesting it is some sort of communist hell-on-earth for years, and even most democrats recognize that it is... problematic.
I am sure Trump could have picked a bunch of different countries that he could have said were his "destination" if he loses the election. (Something like Saudi Arabia or Russia would have made sense, but of course he wouldn't want the negative implications. So some place like Hungary. Or Scotland (where he could at least say he has his golf course.) Or kept it vague and said "europe".
Most 10 year olds know the difference between right and wrong...I noticed that, too. Mispronouncing someone's name on purpose is just so playground bully childish. But it's right in character with Trump who has the maturity of a 10-year-old.

Finally, what if the president-elect dies or is incapacitated after the electoral college meets and before the inauguration? The authors of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution, the one adopted to provide for a way to pick a new vice president, thought of this. If the president-elect dies or is incapacitated the vice president is inaugurated. Section 3 of the 20th Amendment reads:
“If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President.”
