I don't think that money is an issue for the Trump campaign.
If they really need some, Musk is gonna give him a few 100 millions if needed.
Hell, Musk alone could boost and completely finance Trump's campaign.

A lot depends on whether RFK Jr. is included in the polling; a July 31 poll had Trump winning 52-42 heads-up against Harris, while in a five-way race it was 48-39-9-1(Stein)-0(West). Certainly if they are forced to spend money in Ohio it's money they can't spend elsewhere. OTOH, it may cause the Democrats to spend money as well, especially since it could help prop up vulnerable Senator Sherrod Brown. Biden lost there by 8 points in an election he won by 4.5 points nationally, so Harris would definitely seem a severe underdog in the Buckeye State. If she makes it close there, she's probably winning the really competitive rust belt states.

It works, but it carries a whole lot of spurious and now inaccurate tracking and analytic data. Look for the bit that starts "?ref_src=". You can delete that and everything after it. :thumbsup: (it means "referral source" and it indicates what you clicked on to get to the page).

Does Musk actually have cash? I wouldn't be so sure, unless he sells some stock.
 
Trump told Elon that scrapping the Department of Education and moving the responsibility to the states will be one of his first acts if he wins the election in November.

Why Venezuela? Republicans have been suggesting it is some sort of communist hell-on-earth for years, and even most democrats recognize that it is... problematic.

I am sure Trump could have picked a bunch of different countries that he could have said were his "destination" if he loses the election. (Something like Saudi Arabia or Russia would have made sense, but of course he wouldn't want the negative implications. So some place like Hungary. Or Scotland (where he could at least say he has his golf course.) Or kept it vague and said "europe".

It's because it is a communist hellhole. It's implying that he thinks it would be better than the socialist hellhole Harris would turn the US into.

Finally, what if the president-elect dies or is incapacitated after the electoral college meets and before the inauguration? The authors of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution, the one adopted to provide for a way to pick a new vice president, thought of this. If the president-elect dies or is incapacitated the vice president is inaugurated. Section 3 of the 20th Amendment reads:

“If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President.”
