He is also in favor of making sure kids have something to eat at school. Outrageous feeding kids????? That is communism right there.
 
But if kids are fed and healthy, they will be able to learn. If they aren't dumb and hungry, they won't fight each other for the scraps the rich choose to throw at them. They might actually start looking at the people who hold the money and power as the source of their problems.

How is our economy suppsoed to survive without a permanent underclass at war with itself?

Bone spurs on the heel do not go away on their own and are not curable without surgery. There is no evidence that Trump ever had surgery to remove any bone spurs. I believe the two daughters of the doctor who 'diagnosed' Trump with the bone spurs: he did it as a favor to Trump's father who happened to be his landlord.

Vance is repeating the lie that Walz retired from the NG in order to "dodge" being deployed and "abandoned" his unit.
The truth is, Walz applied to run for Congress in February, 2005 and retired in from the Guard in May 2005. But the orders to deploy did not come until July 2005, two months later. (Tom Foreman on CNN)

The bill put tampons in the bathrooms boys 9 and over. To most people, that seems crazy. Sure, not bad but just crazy. Like picking up roadkill and dumping it in central park. I'm sure there's plenty of folks here that are totally understanding that 9 year old boys might have a period, most folks think that's weirder than JD Vance.

ETA: I'm curious how much money is gonna spent on providing free tampons to 9 year old boys that will use them for almost everything conceivable other than their intended purpose.

What. The. Actual. ****? Family tax credits have been a major part of the Democratic agenda. New York state even just implemented its own child tax credit. Biden put that in his proposed budget and they called him worse than Stalin.

This isn't just obscuring things, or downplaying them even misrepresenting them. This is flat out trying to lie and steal credit.

The MN Human Rights Acts prohibits gender identity discrimination in schools. So those students who identify as male, but are biologically female, would need menstruation products in the bathroom they use (boys and gender neutral). Getting your period in 4th grade is young but not rare. My sister did.

The MN Supreme Court ruled under the same Human Rights Act that transgender students must be allowed to use the same locker rooms as their gender identity.

That's not only weird, that's an actual crime. Also, do you know what the truth about the tampon story is?

The smart thing would be to ay "they want to talk about tampons in bathrooms, we're here trying to make sure families have enough to eat. That's what makes them weird"

I know the way I described it isn't the entire truth but its pretty easy to paint as weird and takes some explaining to explain why its not as weird as it seems. Its politics, if you are explaining you are losing .

They cost about 20 cents a piece. Not exactly a high price item. And if it saves some poor transgender kid from the extreme sort of social stigma that fuels suicidal ideation, then it's worth it a thousand times over.

Do you know millions of Americans go to weekly meetings where they talk about how much they love a zombie carpenter from 2000 years ago and fully expect him to come back? In fact, JD Vance is part of a subset of this group that believes they are actually cannibalizing him when they eat from bread waifers. Not symbolically. Literally eating his flesh.

Indeed, and it's not like this is a hard one to explain - It's the law, and we abide by it. Plus, it's the right thing to do!

The latest one is Walz had the state flag redesigned to resemble Somalia's.

I've wondered over the last 8 years whether or not at some point enough people on the right will just get tired enough of this **** to really cause a drop in support. Not voting against even, just saying **** it I'm sitting out this time.

I doubt it, but hope springs eternal. Speaking of that, I do think it's cool that the Walz's named their daughter conceived via IVF Hope.
