General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

When I was at Teesside Poly (about 40 years ag - before it got turned into a universityo) the union did the usual dull beers, but did have a good range of bottled beers. But I'm not even sure if it is even in the same building these days.

According to BBC Breakfast, Farage is calling for Parliament to be recalled from recess. Presumably so he can fail to turn up again.

Why?

To arrange the MPs into a riot squad rapid reaction force?

Or, more likely, to capture all the hot air they will bloviate and use it as some class of crowd dispersal weapon?

Typical important sounding but actually empty statement from Mr JAQ Dog-Whistle.

Tory Lord Davies of Gower has described the riots as "Politically Justified" on X because the Tories couldn't get the Rwanda Bill rubber stamped through the HoL.

Don't forget Farage had a campaign to identify hotels housing migrants. He recorded himself at a number of them and asked people to identify more as some occupants could be Isis members.

A true patriot.

Don't forget it is all these immigrants that will put the country to fire.

It's all the Muslim's fault that people have no other option but to attack the police and the CAB.

Some observations:

In my experience, no student's union has ever had good beer. Cheap beer? Yes, but good beer? No.

"Don't piss with the beer!" - this is not a thing English speakers say. 'Don't ****1 with the beer' makes sense. 'Don't mess with the beer' makes sense. 'Don't piss in the beer' makes sense, but changes the meaning (although some SU beers may be improved by this action).

But 'Don't piss with the beer!' is nonsensical and wierd.

1a perfectly good anglo-saxon word starting with an 'f', for clarification

ETA: I just noticed that you wrote 'p!ss', not 'piss', which makes the phrase even more meaningless. 'P!ss' is not a word, but it is somewhat pr!ssy.

I had an old boss in mind. Nick was a partner on >£2m a year (top earner) but unfortunately had a drink habit, so when I went for my second interview for a job at his firm, I had to pass a 'beer test' with his 'team'. In addition, because of his problem, shall we say, we'd often get invited to join him on social evenings. He had a good friend nearby in the City who ran an Italian restaurant. Nick had a prankish sense of humour and on one Halloween treasure hunt evening he started throwing stuff around for fun, after having stamped on a pumpkin smashing it to bits. But then someone in the team picked up a panatonne cake box, which were used as props to decorate the place, and Nick's mood suddenly changed as he sternly shouted, 'Not the boxes! Don't piss with the boxes!', as his Italian chum looked on in horror. So that phraseology always stuck with me. I would say definitely Anglo-Saxon through and through.

Hotel housing immigrants attacked in Tamworth with petrol bombs

Problem is, these low cost hotels don't just house asylum seekers, they are also used for the temporarily homeless, such as single mothers on the waiting list with nowhere else to go. As young families are given priority, this makes such an arson attack particularly heinous.

Someone is clearly orchestrating or at least provoking the attacks. Let's hope that the numbers of people turning up to riot are the majority of the extremists; my feeling is that they probably are, but they think they represent an unheard majority.

My perception is that their tactics are directly borrowed from the riots in Dublin after a presumed asylum seeker (or 'immigrant' of some sort) had stabbed a child. So mobs have been burning 'asylum seeker hotels' and attacking homeless refuges sleeping in tents on the streets and using the same style of attacks as the Troubles in Northern Ireland at its peak. That is, throwing missiles rocks, bricks, stones at police and setting cars and bins on fire. (Tommy Robinson is Irish, remember.) This is what we are seeing in towns across England, crowds of youths and men dismantling brick walls of people's front gardens and flares by which to attack the police. But why attack the police? In the Northern Ireland Troubles the police were the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) and thus hated and despised by the Catholic Irish Republicans. This was to do with the internment camps set up to deal with the sectarian wars (cf Bobby Sands and co.) and the hundreds of years of politics to do with the British colonisation. At school, we only heard of the British politics side of it (Castlereagh and the Corn Laws) so I am not taking sides as to who is right or wrong there. But it seems clear to me that Tommy Robinson and his sinister Russian allies, together with his sleeping EDL far right group are trying to put into effect a Hitler 1930's-style civil unrest by well-organised and coordinated thugs in the hope of some kind of a right-wing Putsch. Plus they also seem to have been studying and putting into effect the tactics of the French livre-jaunes - yellow vest organised trade unionists.

Definitely some kind of High Treason and treachery going on here IMV and backed by hostile foreign powers.

Nigeria, the UAE, Malaysia and Indonesia have all issued travel warnings for the UK.

No wonder he was so quick to get out of the country.

Yaxley-Lennon is a multi-millionaire and has been bankrupted several times. In addition - so much for the 'true patriot' - he prefers to travel on an Irish passport.

How did this nobody anti-Islamist agitator from Luton with multiple convictions make so much money?

There is more to this guy than meets the eye.

He is backed by several racists with lots of money who want to keep at arms length from the action.
Which, coincidentally is Yaxley-Lennon's preferred modus operandi. Light the blue touch paper and stand back.
