Farage has admitted he has no plan for achieving any of it because he knows he's not going to be in a position to form a government.

He can promise anything he wants.

Which should lead to anyone who interviews any apparatchik from Reformplc to ask what the point of them being there is, as all they are doing is flying fantasy kites?

But will anyone do that? Or will they continue acting as though Reform actually mean something?

His plan is to sweep to power next time.

Meanwhile, bookies have been asked to look for suspicious betting patterns just prior to Sunak's announcement :)

PM's protection officer arrested over alleged bets

A police officer working as part of the prime minister’s close protection team has been arrested over alleged bets about the timing of the general election, the BBC has learned.
The officer was initially suspended by the Metropolitan Police and then arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Sure this isn't really Sunak's fault, but its very poor optics, especially when its clear the Tory party itself didn't know Sunak's plans.

No but people who have certain private knowledge of an event or can affect the outcome of that event should. Just like footballers aren't allowed to gamble on matches, MPs shouldn't be allowed gamble on elections. Do you think that Rish!'s PPS didn't know the exact date of the election before betting on July?

You're mixing different categories. Footballers are not allowed to bet on the results of matches because of the risk of corruption and match-fixing; it shouldn't be possible for them to have knowledge of the eventual result. And we're not talking about the results of elections, which should also be unknowable in advance, but the date of the election, which some people will be party to before it's announced; as such, I think it's foolish of the bookies to take bets on it without doing due diligence. It may be unethical for those with the knowledge to take advantage of it by placing bets, but I still don't see the need for it to be illegal. Then again, I may be biased because I think the laws regarding gambling have been loosened to too great an extent; TV ads should be banned again, in my view. As far as I can see, Labour and LibDems are working on reforms aimed at 'affordability checks', no mention of curbing advertising; the Conservative manifesto has no mention of gambling, suggesting that, were they to win, the reforms in a recent White Paper might be abandoned.

According to Reform, despite the BBC and Sky News actively working to hide it, Labours vote has dropped by 20% since Farage became leader of Reform. We shouldn't believe them or any of the mainstream polls, they are rigged. Millions are moving from Labour to support Nigel and Reform.
Apparently the tide of history has turned and Reform are on course to be the largest party in the new government.

Reform are using an outfit called People Polling and the person it is is Paul Oakden formerly of UKIP. It's a poll on behalf of The Reform Party, by The Reform Party.

Is it any surprise that the most corrupt government in history will bow out in an election they used inside knowledge to bet on the date of?

It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that these spivs had bet on losing catastrophically before throwing the game.

A close protection police officer to Rishi Sunak made bet on July election, and has been arrested for misconduct in public office.

A close friend and advisor to Rishi Sunak made a bet on an early election, and suffers no consequences.

Levelling up.

Remember to take your own pen to the polling station.

Apparently they provide pencils because they can be erased and your vote changed to deny a Reform victory by the WEF funded establishment.

Hasn't Farage said Reform would ensure the UK leaves the WEF? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm led to believe the UK isn't actually a member.

I say this fully aware that we are giving said chancers more publicity in the run up to an election (obviously I'm not talking about the WEF here). Perhaps we should set phasers to ignore, and concentrate on other parties?

A Tory Party spokesman said

“The Director of Campaigning took a leave of absence from CCHQ yesterday.”

On Laura Saunders

“We have been contacted by the Gambling Commission about a small number of individuals.

“As the Gambling Commission is an independent body, it wouldn’t be proper to comment further, until any process is concluded.”

A small number? How many? And who else?

There's more to come I think.

Reform candidate for St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire was kicked out for bad things months ago but has now been reinstated when his replacement dropped out. This is how the Mail described him.

Guy Lachlan, 58, who was standing for the St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire seat, has also shared offensive material, including liking a tweet by the far-Right Britain First party campaigning against Muslims and a tweet saying that the anti-Islam campaigner Tommy Robinson 'isn't entirely wrong'.

In one bizarre post, the car lubricant company owner claimed that there were 'too many people' on the planet, described humanity as 'bacteria' and said that 'policies would have to include one-child limits, sterilisation and euthanasia'.
