Just had my first election leaflet, it's from reform.

John Davies, my local candidate says we won't just be leaving the "EHCR" also the UN to take back "ownership" of the nation f rom the globalists.

Farage hasn't mentioned that.

Reform have posted a poll that shows their support on 47.3% Tories on 29.4% and Labour on 15.3%

It's from The Sun and is the only legitimate poll that shows the true intentions of the voters apparently.

They are preparing for government.

Meanwhile Farage says they might be on to win 7 seats.
They don't seem to be on the same page.

It's a poll of "Sun readers." Further, there's some speculation that Twitter/X polls are being skewed towards Reform. Does Nige have any friends with a history of poll manipulation?

If Farage does win in Clacton, do you think he is prepared to sit in Westminster for years, always waiting for the speaker to allow him to make a speech?

I think think he will spend hardly any time inside the Commons.

Yeah, he'll be in the members' bar.

You're absolutely right, he's only in it for the media exposure it gives him.

Expect a lot of appearances on UK TV, extended trips to the US to spend time with President Trump, all kinds of effort in increasing the value of Reform UK and absolutely no attempt to be a local MP, the leader of a political party within the House of Commons or anything else to do with his day to day work.

In other words, the same kind of "dedication" he brought to his role as an MEP.

myReform have posted that Labour support is now 'tanking' in the 'Red Wall' and have posted a prediction

Labour 284 seats (+87)
Reform 251 seats (+251)
Conservative 41 seats (-355)
LibDems 28 seats (+20)

This is based on a labour drop of 4% in one poll over the weekend.

Other polling shows Labour holding steady.

Reform tactic appears to be if they say everyone is abandoning Labour in favour of Reform it will happen.

Reform have posted a poll for Great Yarmouth showing them on 34%, Labour on 33% and the Tories on 15%.
They haven't said where the poll is from.
All the published polls for the constituency show them to be barely registering.

Is this deliberate deception and is it allowed?

No, it isn't. There is nothing being traded, and no one is forcing the bookies to take the bet.

Same difference, he used inside knowledge to gain an advantage over the counterparty in the contract.

He traded (in the form of a bet) on knowledge he knew and that he know the bookies didn't.

The still is unrepresentative. Run the video and she seems quite effusive. I would be a bit more stand-offish if I met her, a handshake would be more than sufficient, but Sunak is courting the far-right at home, so why not do so abroad?

A t-shirt bearing the end of her hero and a stiff glare would be polite enough.

Desperate to pick up a few Tory voters? They're going to look pretty stupid when they get nothing like the numbers they're claiming, mind.

They probably don't care whether or not they look stupid. They're not that bothered about getting elected, just about increasing "brand value" among their target market (racists and reactionaries).

Its not completely ineffective though. They seem to have AI bots on social media posting about how great the countryside was in the past, and Reform are great if you want things like that again. Considering where they started, and their complete lack of tangible policies that might work, this seems to be an effective tactic. Relatively speaking.

"Globalist" is code for "Jews". The hoary old chestnut promulgated by Hitler and co of a worldwide Jewish conspiracy in which banks and the media are owned by Jews, who aim to undermine 'blood and soil' by making everybody woke. Yet people swallow this crap. Oh, yeah, and they also manage to fit in Muslims as well.

Reform = hate preachers.

Is there an art exhibition anywhere where we can see this illustrated, as in countryside art stirring up nationalistic feelings..?

James Ball of The New European wrote

There is a slim but non-zero chance that Count Binface could help Rishi Sunak hold his seat this year. Richmond and Northallerton was once the country’s safest seat, but this year is almost marginal. Might binface peel votes off Labour?

Binface replied
I'm flattered you'd even ask the question. If any voter is persuaded to vote an alien with a bin for a face over a Labour government, I'd argue Labour needs to try harder.

Reform are to unveil a new ‘patriotic curriculum’ for schools to follow including a syllabus teaching European Imperialism.

Surprise! Surprise!

A Reform candidate has had to resign as it transpires he made comments supportive of the BNP. He has, of course, tried to disavow said comments.

Strange how this sort of thing just keeps happening to certain people, when most of us manage to make it through our lives without supporting the BNP, praising Enoch Powell, inciting racial hatred and the rest. They are just soooo unlucky...
