I enjoyed the first brief lecture.
The Len Deighton Winter stories were the last time I got close to following a history in which I am ill educated.

I honestly don't know why you guys even bother conversing with Samson. You could have a more lively debate with a Deepak Chopra quote generator, replacing every instance of "quantum" with "free speech" and "God" with "Elon."

Fauci's crime, as ever, is that he wasn't a complete Trump sycophant in the face of a deadly pandemic and didn't solely parrot Trump's lies and disinformation about it, which led to Trump sycophants actively trying to discredit him with anything they thought they could, no matter how baseless and farfetched. This is hardly the first time that Musk's promoted inanity regarding Fauci along those lines. "My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci" was a particularly moronic case of that.

Yeah, uh huh. Prosecute Fauci, not the guy who's likely actually responsible for about 40% of Covid deaths in the US and lots and lots around the rest of the world. The guy who fueled about 38% of Covid disinformation, chose to wreck the US' pandemic readiness, and chose corruption and chaos over American lives should be above the law according to Musk.

It's indefensible and disgusting, if one actually cares about truth and principle.

Apple aren't doing that anyway.
For a start they have their own ai system.

His fans are calling on him to produce an X phone with an X OS and ai system that will destroy apple and android because it will be so good and totally protect the users data and privacy and support freedom from corporates.

It’s patently absurd that Apple isn’t smart enough to make their own AI, yet is somehow capable of ensuring that OpenAI will protect your security & privacy!

Apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They’re selling you down the river.
