Criminal Charges Against Trump / Trump Indicted / Hush Money Part III

People bragging they are donating to Trump, one guy on X says he maxed his credit card to give money to Trump.

Why are they so happy to give money to a supposed billionaire?

And then they complain about "inflation" from Biden when it is really credit card debt they are dealing with.

I think the problem is that it has become Existential.

Since Obama, the Republican slogan has been that this will be the last Election ever if you don't vote for us, and since Trump, Democrats feel the same.

By what logic should you preserve a System that protects the trafficking, sexual exploration and ritual murder of hundreds of thousands of children a year? Isn't it your moral obligation to commit voter fraud, coercion, bribery and use patriotic militias to stop this?

Do we have room for the exploited children in Trump's cages? That's a lot of cages.

IMO the GOP feedback after the verdict highlights that moderate Republicans are a myth. Time and again we were assured that a conviction would sway them to no longer support President Trump but now we find that the entire justice system is rigged, rather than their man being guilty.

It seems that a guilty verdict may even enhance his election prospects because the very underinformed may be tempted to turn out and vote for him to right this wrong.

It will probably be Tuesday before there's any good polling data. Most of the polls take about three days to do and then get published. It also matters if he gets sentenced to jail. Polling around July 15th will probably tell us a lot more than that of next week. There could be a sliver of the sliver of undecided voters who have no interest in finding out what happens if a sitting president loses his last appeal and is ordered to prison. That sliver of a sliver could make a huge difference in November.

I think CNN did their part in exposing the jurors' identities, giving detailed descriptions of some or all. Granted, you might not be able to pick one out from all the people in Manhattan, but being out of normal public life for seven weeks is going to be known by some people. Not to mention, someone will be chatting with another and casually mention that they know a juror. It wouldn't take much research to find out who it is. Hell, that info is probably out there already.

One thing's for sure, if the worst would happen and The FPaCFDJT gets re-elected, the first thing on his list would be to commit all his resources to making life for those jurors a nightmare.

Alvin Bragg is probably feeling pretty emboldened right now. I except he would pounce and do everything he could to bring felony charges and tie anything that happens to a juror to Trump. That would be a violent felony even if Trump (who let's face it, lacks to physical fitness for it) didn't do the actual violence.

just like the Deficit, unemployment, a bad economy and bad US reputation in the world, all child exploitation ends the moment Trump is in power.

Because the entire point of the rhetoric is to transport the feeling of existential urgency without any actual content.

The crisis must be over when Fox, Newsmaxx & co no longer scream about it 24/7.

Not good news for Trump

You have to love all the lies that Trump tells. After being convicted he said under Bragg murder and crime were at its worst ever.

Not even close. Compared to the 1970s, Murder is down more than 80%. Violent crime is down 70%. But hey, why ruin a good story.

That makes me happy but I'll be happier when we have a poll of polls with that data.

i think that number is likely to get bigger over time. he's looking more and more like a lame duck

regardless a 1% drop is basically certain defeat. the margins for any potential victory were already razor thin as we've already seen twice.

But lots of Dems are switching to Trump since the crooked verdict even though they don't like him. It's shown them that Biden is the real criminal.

They are all saying so on Twitter and Facebook!
