HE hasn't faced any consequences.. and I doubt he will.

Jesus H. Christ. HE is now a 34 times convicted FELON and you still need to claim he's not faced any consequences. Unbelievable.

And that includes Shemp, too. Come on guys. Stop with the Debbie Downer bit.

... that he still hasn't faced any.

None of this matters if he gets re-elected. HE just said as much.

Yup. He's not a penny out of his personal pocket and not a single GOP politician will stop supporting him.

He'll appeal, lose, be fined and then someone else will pay the fine on his behalf.

... in small words define "consequence" for the group in your own words.

This is just more "This is something that COULD lead to something maybe happening in the future maybe." We've been here a billion times.

He's not in prison. He's not barred from office. He's not dead. He's not losing support.

NOTHING HAS ******* ACTUALLY CHANGED FOR HIM YET.

Yall KEEP ******* mistaking "Setup for potential consequences" for "actual consequences."

I didn't say that he wouldn't face any consequences. I laid out the three things that I want to see him face. And, with appeal, it's still possible this verdict could be overturned. And if you think that's unlikely, take a look at the makeup of the Supreme Court.

As far as I'm concerned, he hasn't yet faced SERIOUS consequences.

I'll believe it when it really happens it. All appeals fail. In the books. Signed, sealed, delivered.

Correct.

He's no poorer, no more likely to go to jail and no less likely to be elected President.

What are the consequences (so far)?
At worst, this is going to give him a boost in terms of votes.

Oh, Gee! I dunno! Maybe being a 34 times convicted felon is a damn consequence?

WHAT IS it with you and all these other Debbie Downers? The jerk gets convicted and here you all are still claiming he's not faced any consequences even before he's sentenced. I think some people are just not happy unless they can find something to be unhappy about.

Yep. It's not about outside norms looking in. The rest of us have known he's a bad guy for a long time. It's helpful to have an actual legal decision in our pocket...

... but to toxic people like this, it's never a consequence until it's a dyed-in-the-wool real consequence. It won't be a consequence for him until he's actually in jail, and as The Don suggests, he may not even see that! Right now it's all just paperwork. His lawyers are telling him they'll appeal, etc. and he's not actually in jail right now, or anything.

"bUT hE's NoW a FELon!"

So is Martha Stewart, Tim Allen, Robert Downey Jr, Khloe Kardashian, and Paul McCartney and they are all doing fine.

trump calls it "a disgrace"
"This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt," Trump told reporters after leaving the Manhattan courtroom where the jury delivered its verdict. Trump proclaimed to reporters that he is "very innocent." CBS News news link

trump plans to appeal. What a surprise.

He’s just sweated his way through a criminal trial, and bam, been found GUILTY.

That’s gotta hurt.

I don’t know the future, but right now, Trump is suffering.

I'm actually looking forward to whatever garbage he post to TS in the next 12 hours or so. Will he finally cross a line the can not be ignored such as outright calling for harm to the judge, DA and or jury members? Will the conviction be enough to push him over the edge and he forgets to use mob coding in his messages?

Exactly. So far it's just a legal technicality.
He will turn that conviction as his main rally argument. Victim, unfair, rigged... it all fits seamlessly into his rally.

EXACTLY!

The naysayers here don't seem to have a good feel for what a malignant narcissist is. There is a reason DT had such a sour face at the outcome, he LOST! This is not something he is used to. And his reaction is just the start, he will spiral to even lower depths than you can imagine, his ego CANNOT handle this. Of course, his supporters will see his increasing insanity as a sign of strength, but among rational people, it will be increasingly hard to ignore as his speech further deteriorates and his public statements become increasingly incoherent.

I've said before that one of the deep, scary things about Trump is that we've had absolute horrible trainwreck Presidents before but none of them; not Bush, not Nixon, did we ever had a valid, deep fear that would sprint away to Russia in the middle of the night and tell Putin state secrets in exchange for protection.

Dubya might have been a walking disaster, but none of us ever had valid worries that he would turn traitor.

What is it with you? Pointing out the reality of the situation is not being a Debbie Downer. I do not believe in celebrating victory until the game is over. If anyone here is being a PITA it's you.
