The FBI notified the Secret Service, and made sure the raid was conducted when Trump was gone.

Once again we see the evil genius FBI planning to assassinate someone but letting the target know when they are coming (in the minds of stupid MAGA supporters).

They're special compared to the plain Agents who work for less special agencies.

Not that much better. On a scale between "healthy" and "corpse" Trump looks and acts like he's a lot closer to the latter side of the range. The way he "concentrated" in court the other day....in my family that's when we start casually slipping a mirror in front of their nose to make sure it's just a temporary nap. If Trump were my dog I'd switch to buying the smaller bags of dog food, you know, so there wouldn't be much wasted.
 
Trump's post or email said something about Biden being "locked and loaded" and gunning for him during the raid. The "deadly force" phrase was boilerplate for investigations of this type -- it was even in the one where they searched Biden's property.

Now the Special Counsel is asking the judge for a gag order against Trump because of his inciting threats against law enforcement. Considering the judge in this case she will probably do nothing about it.

Cannon has refused Smith's request to put a gag order on Trump in the documents case after Trump claimed Biden and the DOJ were trying to assassinate him.

Judge Aileen Cannon chastised special counsel Jack Smith’s team Tuesday for what she described as failing to meaningfully reach out to former President Trump’s attorneys on a motion to limit his speech in the classified documents case after Trump claimed law enforcement had the power to assassinate him.

Smith’s team filed a late Friday motion asking Cannon to clarify that false claims from Trump violated his existing conditions of release after he said President Biden and the Justice Department were authorized to “take me out” during the search for documents at Mar-a-Lago.

Prosecutors — who like Trump’s team are required to confer with the other party before filing motions in the case — did not do so until 5:30 p.m. ahead of Memorial Day weekend.

“The Court finds the Special Counsel’s pro forma ‘conferral’ to be wholly lacking in substance and professional courtesy,” Cannon wrote.

“It should go without saying that meaningful conferral is not a perfunctory exercise. Sufficient time needs to be afforded to permit reasonable evaluation of the requested relief by opposing counsel and to allow for adequate follow-up discussion.”

I'm waiting for Cannon to make a ruling that displeases "The Don" and she comes to realize that she was part of the Face Eating Leopards Party all along. I'm not holding my breath by any means though.

I think she's hoping for a Trump victory in the election and a Supreme Court seat. What I don't think she realizes is that even if she's 100% playing on Trump's side in every way right now he will still hate her forever because she once occupied a position of power over him.
