NZ Politics, the Luxon Era

"But if the common plebiscite stake this money I will skirt their county"

Well, I can't even parse what this means, let alone understand what he's trying to say. :con2:
I would avoid Carterton because the county idolises a fake hero.
Castration killed him and drugs killed my brother.

Ignoring me Samson, just because I pointed out again how you're lying? Tsk tsk.

Just let it go. Carterton is nice little town of 10,000 people in the lower North Island.

Given that people like James Cameron and Peter Jackson are happy to live there and spend their money in the town, I don't think anyone's going to lose sleep over Samson's boycott.

I don't think it's an autocorrect given he has previously used the word incorrectly.

There's only one thing worse than being talked about....

Meanwhile the FSU are on the warpath against the disgraceful behaviour of universities, more to follow.

It might be an autocorrect of "plebs" or "plebians".

Plebiscite = referendum.

Which means it's just an incorrect use, which is pretty funny coming from a bloke who keeps banging on about knowledge of the English language being the ultimate intellectual asset.

Meanwhile a 23 year old Wellington Maori ward councillor is constructing public policy, with the full support of the mayor.
The desire is to up the rate of destroying the lives of children, to be a sister city to the misogynist town of Ramallah, and so on

Despite best efforts, Inflexion will happen.
Watch Jan Rivers, Rowena Edge, Mia Hughes and Jennifer Bilek unpack the disgusting trans cult. .

It's not a cult, your sources are lying to you as you've been told repeatedly, and you recently got dinged for dragging your monomania into other threads.

Being a transgender person DOES NOT MAKE A PERSON PART OF A CULT!

Objecting to transwomen being allowed to use female only spaces, and being allowed to participate in female sports is not bigotry, it is observation of objective reality that transwomen are biologically male. Other than that, I have no objection to transgender people at all. They are a part of our society, and accordingly, should have all the other rights that members of that society have.

However, it seems that you entirely object to their existence, and I am quite certain that you would rather see them "removed" from society altogether. I am really growing tired of your bigotry, and in future, I would rather you didn't post in support of anything I post, because, to be frank, I don't want the association with your vile outlook. People with your attitude tar all of the rest of us with your brush.

Stay on topic please; unless directly related to NZ politics, keep any transgender discussion in the appropriate thread.

50,000 Kiwis have left NZ permanently in the past year.

Note, that the enormous majority of those people grew up here, were trained here, and were highly skilled. It's the largest number of emigrants ever.

As we replace them with immigrants who can't speak English, have questionable training, and aren't skilled at anything.

Sadly, the blame for that lies squarely at the feet of Jacinda Ardern and the Labour government. They had a mandate to change and did absolutely nothing, then followed it up with the final betrayal of flinging the door wide open at a time when property prices and rents were about to stabilise to the benefit of those who have now left.

If Luxon and Willis can't start digging us out of this hole, we are ******.

50,000 people, including their families... between 1% & 2% of the workforce.... devastating

Oh, and the people coming in. Well, a lot of Indians for a starts - and many of them in IT. As I look around the Nelson shopping districts, I see five new IT businesses opened in the last 12 months. Wholesale computer technology businesses, mobile phone repair shops, and software engineering businesses - two here where I live in Richmond, and three in Nelson - all of them owned by recent immigrant Indians who have bought their skills and knowledge to this country. I can't believe Nelson can be the only region in New Zealand seeing this.

The vast majority of Indian migrants in Auckland work in banking, fast food and service stations. The competition in IT is strong enough they're not on the horizon here.

Well here, as I said, all the new IT places are Indian owned. Also, there would not be a single Asian or Indian restaurant that is not owned, operated and staffed by immigrants.

Well, this is just a consequence of years of having health professionals grossly underpaid, going right back for 25 years to the Shipley-Bolger National government.

I honestly cannot understand why any Doctor or Nurse in this country would want to stay here given the crappy pay and conditions.

Not many of the ones left are Kiwi- born.

My youngest son has been in and out of both Kids First and Starship in the past few years and Kiwi accents are rare. Lots of Asians and Saffers.

We're bloody lucky there are countries around the world where NZ is seen as an attractive place to move to. Oddly enough, the only doctor we were involved with who was a complete **** was the Kiwi surgeon whose arrogance cost our boy a foot of his large intestine. The migrant staff were outstanding.

And as for being nothing new, this dates back almost 22 years now when his older brother was born: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/good-health-in-diversity/DMCEASKRJZDOM6F6SLMVJBH2SQ/

:dl:

I definitely LOL'd when I saw this: Tauranga, the oldest, whitest and mnost racist city in NZ, is about to vote for Mayor for the first time in 4 years. The previous council was biffed by the minister and a Commissioner appointed.

And what a match-up we have!

Hero Kiwi bloke, multiple world and Olympic champion, Mahe Drysdale, vs a chick with a moko. Who will win?

I'm ringing up Ladbrokes to have $1,000,000,000,000 on Mahe.
