The Free Speech Union is a right wing organization with a right wing agenda, and many journalists and former members consider their stated aims to be misleading. Yes, they would be aligned with a sleezebag like Tamaki, but it would be wrong to call them "proles"

On the subject of free speech, the far left, the far right and the centrist concepts are vastly different.

The Far Left want speech controlled. They favour hate speech legislation, and forcing people to use "acceptable" speech ("acceptable" speech being defined by their values and philosophy)

Centrists want all speech to be protected, they tend to be absolutists with some limits (e.g. things like the famous "shouting fire in a crowded theater")

The Far Right only claim to advocate free speech. The reality is, in their ideal world, they get to say whatever they want, whenever they want with no consequences, but everyone else has their speech suppressed.

No, it isn't Samson.

The NZ group is a sister group to the original UK one, set up by borderline white nationalist Toby Young. The British group is pretty solidly far right, so I doubt the NZ chapter differs that much no matter what they claim.

No, the result is not the same.

The far left want speech restrictions for hate speech and consequences for ALL transgressors including themselves, while the far right want no restrictions on speech at all, no consequences for themselves, but consequences for others.

Jonathan Ayling is CEO.
He supported drag time story hour against the Destiny Church agenda, in accord with his principals.
He supports a guy who challenges pro abortion youths who want depopulation, to kill themselves. He was arrested.
He supports the right for an IRD female employee to make a joke about period products in male bathrooms.
He saved the career of momo st John when Jodi O'Callaghan from Stuff blackmailed her. He happily talked with my party leader Jill Ovens while MSM unplatformed her.
He is the most principled young man I have encountered in recent years.

As an edit by way of post, also you're still misusing the word plebiscite. You've been corrected on this before. Misusing fancy words doesn't make you sound smart you know, it does the opposite.
