Here's the thing that we all have to accept about various groups, groups we belong to and groups we oppose, there's lots of different folks with lots of different agendas and knowledge in them.

These protests clearly include folks that are genuinely horrified by starving kids, some understand the last 100 years of history that created this situation, some have no idea and think it all started on October 8th, some are rabid antisemites, some just seem to think that all things western, European, and/or American are bad. It makes nut picking easy and useful dialogue and solutions hard.

And. let's face it, some just enjoy raising hell, and some are jumping on an bandwagon because it is the cool,hip thing to do.

In today's context, 'From the River to the Sea ' refers to a One State Solution with full citizenship and property Rights for everyone, including all Palestinians.

And this demand is taken as Genocide, because just like the US Right's cry of White Genocide/ Great Replacement, the fear is that Palestinians will peacefully and democratically take away their political power.
And just as with freed Slaves, many Israeli assume that those they have oppressed for generations with oppress them right back at the first opportunity.

Doesn't matter. There is no reason for peaceful protesters to become violent. Police will not attack peaceful protesters. But they will arrest them.

You need to learn what peaceful protest and non-violent resistance actually means.
