Well my comment was more in the line of a throw away joke, but I wouldn't be surprised if religious courts have even more of an emphasis on pomp and stuffiness than the secular ones do.
I know. :)
RC procedures tend to be rather archaic (and arcane) still.

Yes, I heard from a Tory Spad back in 2015 that he was experimental, and used to be part of the brigade of men who didn’t book a room for Tory Conference but instead expected to be able to share.

He should just own it, like the Bishop of Bath and Wells, and then he wouldn’t be blackmailable. Having an unusual but consensual sex life wouldn’t lose my vote, bad policies would.

Yeah, but the Conservative party is built on sexual hypocrisy.

And which bishop? Ball th child rapist?

Rishi just said
"I love cricket, that’s no secret.
So I’m pleased that today we can support even more young people to get into the game.
We’re investing £35 million in grassroots cricket to help over 900,000 young people into playing cricket."

Well, he gets my vote!

I was always quite an admirer of the baby-eating Bishop of Bath and Wells. He was completely upfront and unapologetic about being a colossal pervert.

Is that across all Indian states or just the Hindu majority ones?

But he was still blackmailed after being found in a compromising position

Who's the big fish caught up in the Wragg saga that the party is desperate to protect?

Is there anything that suggests that there is a "big fish" caught up in it? Link please.
Now we'll get an unseemly squabble as the men tangled in this affair vie with each other to claim the title of "big fish".

Or we'll discover a cabinet minister has literally been a fish all along. I think I am beyond being surprisable.
