A number of Tory MPs supporting the GB News campaign for a 'minister for flags' with powers to enforce new laws on which flags can be flown or displayed and where.

I might be mistaken but If I remember Samson is French. Sad to say, that is a common belief among too many Frenchmen.
They have a number of charming terms for Muslims like "Melon" (no smarter then a melon: and "Sale Raton". Dates back to the Algerian War.
 I though he was a New Zealander?

It's about the only red meat that they have left to enrage the masses with. I suspect it will be first and foremost in their manifesto. There are no sensible Tories left that can influence the party, the lunatics are in total control.
There's always the usual trans and immigrant bashing.

Humza Yousaf is an Islamist intent on criminalizing insults targeting Islam.
I will post a transcript presently.

Sorry, but what?

I think the Scottish Hate Crime Bill is a terrible idea, but I notice that perhaps the only thing about it I would agree with it is the removal of blasphemy as a crime.

Also, is there any evidence of him being an Islamist?

Only for Samson, who equates 'islamist' with 'muslim'.

I hold the view that stereotyping billions of people with diverse characteristics is an indicator of distasteful extremism or profound stupidity.
I expect some pushback from my moderate discourse.
To stay on topic, do you agree that Humza Yousaf is correct in encouraging hate crime reports of JK Rowling?
I imagine your riposte will ignore the finer details in this fascinating slap down of grotesque language laws.

It's not moderate discourse, you're just a bigot.

Let's assume we live in a parallel reality. Yousaf lost the election to be SNP leader. So now instead of a Muslim who made no comment on religion guiding his leadership, we have an evangelical Calvanist who explicitly said her faith, one which is intolerant to homosexuals and is extremely socially conservative is in charge.

Do you still protest this leadership?

To answer correctly, I listen to JS Bach to anchor all my thoughts.
I listen to the cantatas to understand a concept of spirit.
Now I can set aside religion at that point.

I abhor the Koran, the pedophile Mohammed, and everything Islam foists on Western sensibilities.

Word salad that doesn't answer the question.

Answer my question samson.

The law looks ok to me. I have not seen anyone arrested or prosecuted for breaking it that I didn't agree with, but am happy to look at any examples you have of any 'legal slap down by a grotesque language law'. Given your predictions I imagine you would have 1000s to choose from.

As for the finer details happy to review where Humza Yousaf specifically encouraged hate crime reports of JK Rowling. I have seen him comment that he was not surprised her posts did not break the law, which makes me think any suggestion that he considered her posts would break the law are ill informed.

I imagine your repost will have no unwarranted arrests and no opinion of Yousaf that Rowling's posts broke the law.

Jesus wept.
You think this child Islamist should be respected?
It is not his fault he was an unelected imbecile, it is a deep structural failure of western proclivity taking the foot off the neck.

A First Minister should be concerned whether the laws are being followed or not. And remember what Rowling has been posting for the last few years does not fall foul of the new laws.
