So you don't differentiate between Muslims and islamists?

Every Muslim is an islamist to you?

Are you taking the piss?

Well, I did post a link to a decent definition of Islamism, but that seems to have been ignored in favour of "every Muslim is an Islamist", which would come as news to any number of Muslims I've known over the years. So I kinda think some taking the piss is involved.

Not to mention repeatedly ignoring similar questions about Kate Forbes, who was quite open that her form of Wee Free-ism would inform her policy making, as it already had some of her voting. But she's a white Christian...

He designed and is implementing laws that are poised to catch JK Rowling. She has a non crime hate incident logged against her which would preclude her from many jobs were she to apply. Yousaf is encouraging all complaints to be investigating to establish a pattern. He belongs to a profoundly mysoginist religion, where it is impossible for primal indoctrination to be disentangle by men. Women are powerless, look at Iran and Afghanistan. He could not choose his parents or the crap religion they were indoctrinated to, but once being smart enough to understand the machinery of power he is smart enough to kick a crap religion to touch. Having failed to do that he fails as a civilized being.
I am staggered by a benevolent spin being ascribed.

The new hate speech laws will not affect Rowlings if she continues to publish what she has been doing over the last few years.

Or all Christians by the Lord's Resistance Army.

Personally I consider them all Radical Christianists until they've denounced the Lord's Resistance Army, the Inquisition, the St Bartholomew's Day Massacre, Elizabeth, Mary, both sides in Northern Ireland, the Crusades and the Ku Klux Klan to my personal knowledge & satisfaction. Until that point I see no reason to differentiate.

I didn't expect the Inquisition.

This its the type of intolerant crap posted by nutters before they go and shoot up a mosque. By all means criticise religion and the extremists but don't ascribe extremist views onto people without reason. Not all Muslims believe the same thing just as not all Christians do. You are perpetuating the same bollocks some religious people do in saying to that the crimes of atheistic historical fascists and despots are what all atheists would do if allowed.
The choice is for men to remain Muslim.
Women have no risk free choice.
Humza chooses with no risk. He should get out of the cult before deigning to controlling the plebiscite.

Ben Habib says there's no appetite for a Labour government and that polls predicting a huge Labour victory is largely due to Tory voters switching to Reform UK or not voting.

Even if it's true that Labour's only appeal is to look adequate while not being the Tories, Starmer should send him a box of chocolates for splitting the right-wing vote and handing an even larger majority to Labour.

"Adequate", "Not Organised Crime" & "Not a Privately Owned Company" looks pretty good at the moment.

I don't differentiate.

To get back to the topic of general UK politics, I think this sort of thing is one of Rishi's major problems. The Tories and their allies have spent years trying to demonise immigrants in general, from May's "hostile environment" through to the current frothing about stopping the boats, and Muslims in particular, with talk of Sharia courts, no-go areas, grooming gangs etc., but the sort of people this sort of thing will appeal to don't differentiate. They don't care whether someone is Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, or whatever, and they don't care if people who look different to them have been here for several generations, as far as they are concerned they are all immigrants. And Rishi wonders why he isn't more popular.

This is why they had to put Sunak in No. 10 on the nod rather than holding a contest, the wider party would rather have voted for the lettuce than him even if he was the second coming of Winston Churchill. This is why the idea that Badenoch or Braverman will be party leader is nonsense, since after an electoral defeat they will have to go to the party as whole to select a leader.

Just checking back in, I will only listen to women on the subject of Islam.
They are in Afghanistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, having clitorectomies in Manchester.
I have no dog in this fight, they do. I find it depressing for the men in this echo chamber preaching inclusivity.

What does that have to do with the post you were replying to?

FGM in the Kingdom should be a nice little earn, Terry.
The problem is that the political class turns a blind eye, all too difficult.

As with most of your claims - simply untrue.

In E&W it became a specific offence in 1985 (it was before that date illegal but not as a specific offence), then a revision in 2003 to make it an extraterritorial offence. Then further revisions happened throughout the early part of the century. It is punishable with up to fourteen years' imprisonment. You can even be charged with failing to protect a child by up to 7 years imprisonment. It's now mandatory for all social workers, teachers, health workers etc. to inform the police if they have suspicions that FGM has happened and/or may happen. There are even specific protection orders that can be taken out if it is believed a child might be in danger of FGM, along with provisions such as lifelong anonymity for a victim i.e. can't be named.

And Samson - FGM is not Islamic. It is prevalent in some Islamic countries but nowhere near all, it is also prevalent in some Christian countries but nowhere near all.
