Cont: Today's Mass Shooting (part 3)

Security cam in bowling alley caught Robert Card entering. Police released it for ID purposes. Very scary.

Card has a history of domestic abuse, including arrests. One ex-wife apparently felt threatened enough to get an order of protection against him.
 
We're getting a press conference at 10:30 Eastern Time. Not sure if that means something has happened in the case or not.

Only thing to do is to redesign bowling alleys so there can't be a line of sight for shooting, plus having armed guards at the entrances, and make being armed compulsory at any public event - at bowling alleys they can give out a Glock when they give you your bowling shoes.

Oh sorry, forgot of course the most powerful thing that anyone can do - prayers and thoughts.
 
Sorry - I know it is gallows humour and I'm aware of the significant issues and the devastation such an attack has on all involved. It's really a symptom of despair. We all know nothing will be done to stop this type of event; it is as far as the USA as a whole is concerned the price it is willing to pay for a bloody sentence on a piece of parchment from over 200 years ago.

Is there any evidence that the shooter is a white supremacist terrorist?

19 mass shootings with double-digit casualties so far this year. This is the first with a known white shooter. It's probably best for your belief system that I remain quiet, it rarely goes in your favor.

(It has been nearly 2 months since I've looked to see if any more of the suspects have been identified.)

There have been 19 mass-shootings this year with more than 10 deaths, and all were committed by non-white people? I call BS.

10 or more victims, dead or wounded. And you are correct, there have only been 18, I miscounted. The race of a lot of the shootings are unknown because snitches get stitches and police don't always release suspect descriptions… for reasons.

In that case, there have been four mass shootings. One white, one Latino, one Asian and five black males with one unidentified juvenile. The per capita numbers are a bit askew.
 
Bugs the **** out of me that when I hear "active mass shooter", it doesn't bring up a visual image. As soon as they say "16 dead", I immediately picture a white boy with a modified military rifle.
 
A good chunk of the state of Maine remains in lockdown with multiple schools, the area's largest supermarket chain, and clothing maker LL Bean (who's headquarters, flagship store, and multiple factories are located in the area) staying closed.

Official Death Toll raised to 18 with CNN still reporting once source saying 22.
