Back, meaning, Im back in Tokyo, which I havent seen since September. Exhausted from 12 hours of flying and moving luggage. Need to move luggage again tomorrow to a different place.

Been back since last night. Why did I schedule a meeting at work today?

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

I got home about 36 hours ago, and I've spent about 22 of them sleeping. Finally, after dragging myself out of bed at 1:30 in the afternoon, I feel more or less human again.

Was it worth it? Oh, HELL yeah. ;)

Las Vegas has removed the concept of sleep from my understanding. Likewise, it has removed the concept of sobriety.

Got back last night, but my brain was still a chaotic mosaic of ideas and memories, so I was unable to sleep. And my liver is supremely pissed off. It won't even talk to me.

Stuck in Toronto for a night after my flight home was cancelled. It's kind of depressing having to go back to regular life again after the great time at TAM4.

Did I meet you TriangleMan? I met so many people, and didn't necessarily match up their forum names with who they were.

It told me to tell you that maybe next time you go to Vegas, it will just let you go by yourself, and how would you like that, huh?

Home from Vegas. Back at work. BAH. I do now know that when running on 3 hours of sleep, getting drunk turns me obnoxious. I should have been able to figure that out on my own, I'm sure, but um... as a skeptic I needed EVIDENCE... yeah...

Bah.

Yeah, you did not seem to be quite your cheerful self at the Peppermill.

Although your view of the waitress as she bent across me to put a plate down brought you out of the doldrums for a few shining moments... :eye-poppi

Yeah. That was good.

Memmmmories....

I had a good time at the Peppermill, I just couldn't muster showing it. I just ran myself down. I'll be better prepared next year.

We met briefly a few times at TAM and the various after-events. If I recall, I think we both had rooms on the same floor (28th) and we talked for a sec in the hallway one morning.

If it weren't for school starting, I'd have been even more depressed about leaving. The wthdrawal made it hard to sleep the first night, even though I was exhausted.

BN, where are you staying?

I'm halfway home..in Ohio.

Depression is trying to set in, but I'll be planning the cruise and UK TAM to stave it off. :)

Back in house about 5pm (American Airlines was ontime again, who would have thunk it) and been trying to get things in some sembalance of order.

Currently staying in the same guesthouse I was in back in Sept, in Oizumi Gakuen, Nerima.

Supposed to be moving to perm apartment today, but it is cold and rainy outside, and my desire to move luggage back and forth has greatly decreased since walking around this morning looking for yobinkyoku (and MacD)

So I'm back. It's cold here. I miss the blinky lights, the bad food, the noisy slots, and the copious beer. But most of all I miss youse guys.

Great big hugs to TrebleHead, LostAngeles, TK & Phil, ImaginalDisk, Jas, et alii (especially those whose names I don't offhand remember...sorry). You guys all make great buddies. I never could have imagined I'd meet such totally awesome people.

And big thanks to Jeff for his random mojito-induced musings and entertainment. Walking that gawd-awful Strip would never have been as much fun alone.

Hope to see some faces at TAM4.1 in March.

[badpun] It truely was an Amazing meeting. [/badpun]
