It's the idea of multiple crashes that gets me
Who taught the aliens to fly?

It's amazing how Grush has claimed exactly none of the specific allegations he made previously to "jounalists" before the committee, always hiding behind national security. It's almost as if he doesn't want to self incriminate and perjure himself before an audience which has at least some of the powers of a court of law.

More crashes in the U.S. because the aliens are so shocked at what they see, they lose all sense of orientation.
 
I've never heard that there were supposed to have been multiple crashes; just the one near Roswell NM (which the government was not the first to get to) and a bunch of sightings of non-crashes.

The guy who's supposed to be a fighter pilot or former fighter pilot is an intriguing case. He says others at his base often saw these things too, and that they discussed them during flight briefings & debriefings. Why aren't we hearing from the rest of them?

Isn’t David Grusch in this news article from post #6 claiming that the U.S. government is holding material from more than one crash? (or is it just the journalist who is exaggerating?):

It's mostly an artefact of the Cold War. Back in 1947, when all this started, the US was the only nation that had nuclear weapons, and a lot of people thought the aliens were scoping out those weapons for some reason. Also, as the Cold War went on, North America was one of the most-monitored airspaces in the world. We had radar stations all over the US and Canada looking out for Soviet Bombers and, later, missiles. We also maintained lots of round-the-clock aircraft patrolling the skies, ready to pounce if the radar systems spotted anything.

So pretty much everyone assumed that if a UFO showed up on radar, US jets would intercept it, and shoot it down, and then the military would take over the crash recovery almost immediately. And that makes sense when you think they were really looking for Soviet bombers, and shooting down the UFOs were just a side effect.
 
Elsewhere (I think Reddit), when I saw somebody ask why they aren't seen outside the USA, the given answer was they they are but you just don't hear about it here because other countries have their own internal practices about whether & how widely to report them.

But not a single one of the current batch of crashes are presumed to have been shot down by US jets!

That is a valid argument, except as I mentioned, it is highly unlikely that the governments would be aware of any crashes before the public had documented it.

If it was shot down, the government would know about it, but I doubt that the crash could be kept secret because of the relatively high population density.

YES! I was just thinking given the surface area of Russia they must have far more crashed UFOs than the US. Also the Alien FDAequiv seriously needs to do something about the number of crashes on Sol 3. Presumably the MiB recover the black boxes?

This international UFO operation has assets pre-staged in multiple countries around the world, and all the major governments are members and or are in on it. A crash in Denmark? No problem, a recovery/security team based in Germany, or Sweden, or Scotland can be on the scene within hours to confiscate cameras, intimidate civilians, and recover the craft. News media and local law enforcement is silenced. Since WWII this organization has recovered craft from every continent on earth.

The organisation is based in a film studio in England. They use it as cover.
This organisation includes a moon base equipped with missile firing interceptors, submarines able to launch rocket propelled fighters and combat teams ready to clean up any crash site and capture aliens that land

There's an extensive TV documentary series about it.
