If you think that's what's been happening, then there's no reason to expect him to not do the same with regards to the pride night. It was Susheel, not me, who thought he would avoid commenting on pride night specifically not to make a fool out of himself. If you're right about DeSantis, then I fully expect he would step on a rake and go off about pride night.

I said the California location was an indication that Disney wasn't trying to stick it to DeSantis. Their reasons for holding this event have nothing to do with him. I never claimed this was why DeSantis wouldn't care. I don't think he would care even if it had been held in Florida.

You're trying to debate the merits of the law. I just told you that's not relevant to my claim. It's also off topic.

TBH your claims seem devoid on any form of logic, rather it seems you were told what to believe and you choose to adopt those beliefs without bothering to apply any critical thinking.

- The "purpose" of the law you are asserting would target something that doesn't happen
- The law would not solve that "problem" even if it existed
- the law has other easily predictable results that were pointed out before it was passed
- these predictions proved accurate

Since legislators knew all this beforehand the only reasonable conclusion is that the law is having *exactly* the effect they intended it to have.

And the law he championed plus the things he said about it give us a window into what motivates DeSantis. As you previously said, his support for the Don't Say Gay bill was because of the claim that acknowledging gay people exist would somehow sexualize children.

Now you're desperate to try to limit a reaction to the Pride Night in California as the only way to determine how DeSantis feels about gay people despite all of his other blatant public statements and acts. It's not working.

What losses? Your link says they actually increased revenue. If you are referring to streaming subscriptions, that seems to be an industry issue, not just Disney. And Iger was brought back late last year to address that.
