Transwomen are not women - X (XY?)

Can you provide an example of someone who (1) identifies as transgender, (2) has never experienced gender dysphoria, and (3) ought to be affirmed and validated in some specific way?

I'm particularly interested in the third criterion here. Beyond pronouns, what sort of social validation do you have in mind for someone who doesn't need to physically transition in order to relieve the experience of dysphoria? Do they get to enter locker rooms and leagues created for the opposite sex?

All you will get is an irrelevant analogy about homosexuality.

But what exactly does it mean to be "transgender" without body dysphoria? You didn't actually answer me. If you're "transgender" but you have no desire to alter your body, what does that even mean? Nothing you've said provides any insight.

You don't understand this at all. Gender dysphoria is the internalised conflict a person with transgender identity might have between their sex assigned at birth and their trans gender. Not all people with transgender identity undergo gender dysphoria. Not all people with transgender identity undertake medical or surgical transition.

Once again, what you wrote does not address what you are replying to.

'If you accept that evidence, that she is transitioning, that she is aiming to continue on that path to becoming female gender, that goes a long way to acquitting her of these charges.'

:eye-poppi

Admittedly that is the defence advocate speaking, but even so. Acquitting? At best, and it's a stretch, it might form part of a plea in mitigation.

I literally cannot see any reason at all why a man accused of rape or sexual assault in Scotland today would not immediately claim to be a woman.

If biological sex is different then gender how can you have dysphoria between sex and gender?

Trans Cultural Mindfulness Alliance doesn't appear to be a parody account, but it is getting a lot of attention for some very silly tweets:

Aretha Franklin's "Natural Woman" should be removed from Spotify and Apple music.

Youporn should get rid of the outdated label "she-males". I particularly like the background on how this came to their attention:

My eight-year old son, Jonah, came up to me this afternoon and asked me what a "shemale" was.

I immediately asked him where he heard that term and he told me it was on YouPorn.

TCMA is immediately calling on @YouPorn to ban the use of this harmful and outdated term.

Your eight-year-old was on Youporn and that's your takeaway--that he was exposed to a bad word?

Transgender women have periods and need free feminine hygiene products.

Stores should stop selling men's and women's clothing separately.

Oh, and they support pronounopedia, where everybody can register their personal pronouns, so nobody will have an excuse for using the wrong pronoun.

I say parody.

'There have been zero meaningful studies into the gender identities of pets.
It seems meaningless, but many children learn gender from their pets.
Just because you bring home a "gendered" pet, allow your child to choose the gender of the pet - don't assign it one "at will".'

'Lionel Richie's song "Three Times A Lady" is a musical masterpiece that should be incorporated into drag queen sets.
The song is actually about a non-binary woman (she switches genders three times in the course 'of their relationship) but this has been silenced.
Kudos to Lionel!

Fixed that for them. I can accept ridiculous gender revisionism of popular music, but not bad math!

Quite possibly however if there was a mandatory 50/50 stand to pee/sit to pee ratio with things like free tuition offered to the group that under applied it would give a real read on just where society stands in general on the whole issue of access.

Would trans people even apply? It would mean their gender is no longer relevant so things like access to the ladies room would no longer mean anything as the "ladies room" would no longer exist and going to the bathroom would be the same as using the gender neutral bathrooms all the transes don't seem to want.

But surely there's enough women believing that trans women are women to make this work.

FYI - the ratio needs to be more like 75% sit to 25% stand.

It takes longer to sit - you have to remove more clothing, regardless of whether you're male or female. Defecation takes longer than urination, and is something both males and females do. Additionally, about 50% of the population CANNOT stand to pee. So if you do a 50/50 split, you're massively disadvantaging anyone who is not {male who only needs to pee}.

Yes, of course, I must have had a bit of a brain-storm because we were talking about Zimmer Bradley earlier.

What I said still stands though. McCaffrey was getting away with involving her male characters in homosexual sex at a time when Lichtenberg was being cancelled because of an interpretation of her story, not an interpretation she subscribed to, that an act she had invented which wasn't sex, was actually a proxy for sex.

And when I said Zimmer Bradley was terrible, that's who I was talking about. OK maybe The Mists of Avalon wasn't that bad, but some of the rest of it! Night's Daughter is one I have particular reason to hate.

MZB had books involving dragon riders also. And I don't recall any sexual activity in the Pern books... but it's been a while so my brain could be lying to me again.

Meanwhile, 'Decapitate TERFs' is trending on Twitter (4712 tweets) following widespread disgust at a banner displayed at today's pro-GRR rally in Scotland.

Holy crap. But people keep insisting that "TERFs" are the evil hateful ones. There's so much intimidation, threats, and actual attacks of females by trans activists out there, and pretty much zero going the opposite direction.

Sometimes I'm shocked at how far into the sand some people can stick their heads.

Some Scottish men might value their personal integrity over an easy get-out.

No, McCaffrey is Pern, and was pretty G-rated across the board. They were targeted at older elementary school children, not even middle schoolers.

Yeah, but at one point I was talking about Pern and named Zimmer Bradley by mistake. The Gold Country was correct.

The Pern books are awash with male homosexuality, it's just thinly disguised. And she meant it.

However, when I said Zimmer Bradley was terrible, I meant what I said.

All the Dragonriders of Pern are male, except the Queen. Dragons are both male and female. Dragons copulate quite a lot. McCaffrey revealed that when the dragons go at it, their riders do too.
