I’ll try one more time. cjdelphi, you never addressed the fact that if your claim (an interstellar spacecraft propelled by ion rocketry) was true, much if not all of your city would have been awakened by the deafening thunder and blinding light show, yet you observed no such thing.
Since the physical effects of a dense hypersonic stream of charged particles sufficient to provide tens or hundreds of thousands of newtons of thrust at ground level are an unavoidable consequence of your premise, your own observations refute your claim of an alien spacecraft.
A corollary of this, of course, is that you have clearly not ruled out all other possible explanations for what you reported. You basically fed Ockham’s Razor into a garbage disposal, then sold it for scrap.

See, you claimed your observations resulted from a spaceship holding up its mass (and eventually accelerating away) using thrust from ions. That is what we in the business call a “rocket”. In this case, a rocket with a very high Isp, and using charged particles accelerated via electricity rather than hot combustion products, but still… a rocket.
Your claim boils down to a good-sized spacecraft using a dense hypersonic stream of charged particles to generate tens or hundreds of thousands of newtons of thrust at ground level. That will not result in a “low rumbling sound“. That will result, unavoidably, in a deafening, blinding display guaranteed to wake everyone for miles.
You didn’t see or hear that, and neither did any of your neighbors or the rest of your city. Ergo, you were not visited by an ion-propelled interstellar spaceship. I make no representation as to what you actually did observe.
Well, I must admit I haven’t watched any YouTube videos about quietly rumbling interstellar spacecraft, so you have me beat there. I can bring nothing to this discussion other than several decades in aerospace systems engineering. (The first guys I worked for designed the Mercury capsule.)
But you really only need high-school kinematics to grasp the essential contradiction of your claim. Like I said, you’re so close to getting it. Take your low buzz or rumble and subdued light flash (the observation), and put it next to what your claimed ion rocket-propelled interstellar spacecraft would actually look and sound like (the physical reality, not the “low rumbling sound”). Now compare the two. What does that tell you?
Pro tip: if you really just have to have it be an alien spacecraft, do yourself a favor, and claim it uses antigravity or something. That way, you’ll simply be appealing to magic, rather than contradicting yourself from the get-go.

That’s because you don’t know what you’re talking about. In fact, you literally don’t know enough to understand your own claim. Well, I tried to help you. So be it.
Your fourth post in this thread called it an “ion propulsion system”. Such a system, as I already explained to you, works by accelerating charged particles - hydrogen nuclei, in your premise - to (very) high speeds and expelling them from the vehicle in a collimated fashion in the opposite direction from which you desire to accelerate.
That is the definition of a rocket.
In fact, I’ve worked a bit on the development of a similar type of rocket. Which did not use combustion, but an RF plasma generation system designed to be powered by a nuclear reactor. I’ve personally operated a spacecraft propelled by a cold gas thruster. No combustion. Also a rocket. There are many other examples.
I’m sorry you’re unable and/or unwilling to learn such basic concepts, and that you are incapable or simply too lazy to think about the ramifications of your own claims, but I’ve spent enough time trying to educate you. Your behavior, intentionally or not, is functionally that of a troll, and trolls don’t get my time or attention.

Problem is, flares were not launched at the time the lights were seen, look at a video of flares the light coming off them lights up the smoke behind it as it falls to earth
