The Russian Invasion of Ukraine Part 4

I don't "lag behind", I wait for evidence to come in while you seem to swallow everything the mighty Wurlitzer puts out.

Some seriously refer to twitter accounts called "EuromaidanPR".

And? You have never seemed to understand for what claims the same source may be good and not good. For example, when you want to show that the Russian MoD said XY, then quoting the Russian MoD is gold. For everything else it is garbage.

Most time I'm far ahead of these silly claims, like with Siversk taken over by anti-Kiev forces. This is still not officially claimed, but if you read between the lines, the situation seems like the roads from and to the city are controlled by the anti-Kiev forces. And they are still fighting about positions on some hills near the city. You will hear about it in a week or so by some whining pre$$titutes.

The Siversk claim is old news. It is also fake news. It was fake news when you posted it. And it is fake news now.

A reminder:
In other news, it seems like Siversk has been taken over by the LPR opolchenie.

I don't follow Russian sources all that closely, because frankly, it is not really worth it. But, by the time you had posted it, it got even through to me, that the Russian/LPR/DPR side had already backpedaled on this claim. They do not control the city as in captured or "taken over" as you had been made to believe, but rather some sort of operational control, or something along those lines. But not even that seems to be true.

What you have posted now, seems to indicate -- Read. Between. The. Lines. -- that you now have too become aware of this backpedaling, but would like to cloak, more to yourself than to others, that you again have been led up the garden path*.

MK Bhadrakumar chimes in again.

Ukraine grain deal is a feel-good event. But road to peace is long and winding

MK Bhadrakumar said:
The agreements signed in Istanbul on Friday regarding the export of grain out of Ukraine and Russia catch the headlines as a major development from the angle of global food security, which it surely is. Between around 22 million tonnes of grain from last year’s harvest now trapped inside Ukraine due to the war, and an estimated 41 million tonnes from Russia’s 2022/23 wheat exports, around 60 million tonnes, are reaching the world grain market.

A conservative estimate is that Russia’s 2022 wheat crop will reach 85 million tonnes and if the weather holds good, it may go up to 90 million tonnes, a record harvest. Suffice to say, Russia’s importance to the global wheat balance in the new season is likely to be unprecedented. Supplies from Russia will account for more than 20 percent of the 2022/23 global wheat trade, consolidating its position as the world’s number one wheat exporting country.

Thus, two sets of agreements were signed in Istanbul, one relating to the modalities of transportation of the Ukrainian grain from three designated ports on the Black Sea — Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhne — via a “grain corridor” to Turkey and a second one between Russia and the United Nations relating to the lifting of western sanctions on Russia’s exports of wheat and fertiliser.

In reality, Russia is getting sanctions waiver from the West even as it is facilitating the operation of the “grain corridor” out of Ukrainian ports in the war zone. Is there a linkage between the two? The answer is “yes” and “no”. But the Russian blockade of Ukrainian ports followed the western restrictions on shipping and insurance for Russian ports was more than a coincidence. [...]

Indian perspective, ought to be read in full.

If you can judge that. It was certainly not a "grain silo" exploding like the "Great Britain" propaganda machine that is working you pretends.

I watch the BBC news and I just searched their website. I have heard, and can find no mention of, grain silos being hit by missiles. Did I miss that and have they deleted the 'news' from the website?

So what exploded according to what you've read? And what does it have to do with the "grain deal"?

Missiles exploded. In the harbor. From whence wheat is supposed to get shipped according to a deal recently reached by Turkey with the Ruscists.
It stands to reason that missiles exploding in a harbor is not conductive to harbor laborers loading ships with wheat, nor to wouls-be wheat exporters sending cargo ships into that harbor.

No. CE plainly lied.

It went "boom".

you still haven't answered where it went boom.
The answer is, according to Ruscist propaganda: a dock. Where a Ukrainian military vessel was for maintenance. And that some Harpoons were also there (but not on the ship, also not shipped to there by that ship)
Sounds legit.
If only the source weren't so ominously Ruscist. And if only this was what CE claimed (CE even lies about the lies)

FWIW, I've seen the claim that a silo was hit by one of the missiles. Nothing about exploded, though. For example -

Command spokesperson Nataliya Humenyuk said no grain storage facilities were hit in Odesa. Turkey's defence minister, however, said he had spoken with Ukrainian authorities, and one missile struck a grain silo and another landed nearby — but neither affected loading at Odesa's docks.

The BBC propaganda article that Captain Swoop linked had the embedded video that shows that nothing with grain (which affords to be kind of dry to be usably) got hit, accompanied by this headline and subheadline:

GB State Media Propaganda Rag said:
Ukraine war: Key Ukrainian port hit by explosions after grain deal

The blasts rocked the city of Odesa a day after Kyiv and Moscow reached a landmark deal to allow the resumption of grain exports.

And you want to tell me that there is no connection made by the nonsense you consume?

Everything in the bit you quote from that article is entirely TRUE and perfectly relevant.

What exactly is your problem with truthfully reporting relevant facts?
Oh right - it's an abomination to Ruscists to say truths that make their Führer look as ugly as he actually is.

Mind you, that's from a Turkish minister and contradicts what the Ukranian spokesperson said. I'm still not seeing a western claim that silos were hit.

Watch it closer and in a couple of weeks you will be wiser.

I have already had several such experiences. One of those was the reported encirclement of Avdiivka, with especially vivid memories of some idiot (it is perfectly safe to call him that now) on youtube. He was berating whoever it may concern about the lying western media, and that if people only really informed themselves, they would know too, that Avdiivka had been encircled and would be taken soon. He also linked to some Chinese media.

Well, what can I say. According to my sources, FWIW, the claim was false then. I waited a few days and even weeks, to see if the claim would maybe later turn out to be true. It never did. That was May.

And the consequences to me, the wising up, of such experiences was/is to disregard anything that can ultimately be traced to Moscow.

If you can judge that. It was certainly not a "grain silo" exploding like the "Great Britain" propaganda machine that is working you pretends.

Anyone not blinded by their obedience to the Kremlin line can judge the difference between a munitions laden ship exploding (as helpfully illustrated by the Saratov, making quite a spectacle of being sunk in port back in March) and a "precision" missile hitting something obviously more inert.

I see you can't let go of the same tedious lie again about the British claiming grain silos were hit.
