The Russian Invasion of Ukraine Part 4

the deal was not to target port facilities.
They targeted the port.

In their version they dunked a military ship with a load of Harpoon missiles delivered by the US. The video you posted clearly shows that they hit something in or close to the water. The grain silos are far to the right of it, where the camera shortly slides to.

Do you deny that the BBC video clearly shows that no grain silos were hit (at least not in the video) and their whole "uuh uuh it's a violation of the "grain deal"" is pure propaganda?

Did it show a ship being sunk or a warehouse full of missiles exploding? Doesn't look like it to me. Does the grain deal allow for Russia to keep on bombarding grain exporting ports so long as they make up some lies about precision strikes on legitimate targets?

The "green corridor" Russia has asked for to evacuate its trapped men and equipment from around Kherson is a good example of how ridiculously deluded Russia is. They think they can murder, rape, and loot Ukrainian civilians, and then ask for kindness.

Uhm, I haven't followed that strain of the thread. Who is the source for the claim that "the Russians" asked for a "green corridor" out of some cauldron?

No, it shows a target close to or on the sea going up in flames. No grain silos. It could well be a ship full of Harpoons delivered by the US. The video quality is not good enough but it "debunks" the propaganda claims of the usual (usually "Great Britain") sources.

It could well be a ship full of invisible pink unicorns.

I see one rising pall of smoke and no secondary explosions. How very unlike the currently fashionable spectacle of Russian munitions being destroyed. And your claim that the BBC claims grain silos were hit is just more of the usual lies.

Russia did "it" and doesn't deny "it", just that "it" is not what the propagandists at "The Guardian" want to make you believe. From today's - very long, including the destruction of two M-777 howitzers - MoD update:

So the Russian Navy is incapable of blockading Odesa? Thanks for admitting that.

Odessa it is called. Its harbour was mined by the Kiev forces, and some demining has been going on, which is part of the "grain deal" Russia hasn't made with the Ukraine, but the Ukraine has made with Turkiye, while Russia made a mirror deal with Turkiye. Because the clowns in Kiev are completely off their rockers and can't even talk directly with Moscow.

Whose military ship was it? Where did it come from? And why wasn't it intercepted by the Russians before reaching Odesa?

If you're speaking Russian. In Ukrainian it's "Оде́са" which is Romanised as "Odesa".

I wonder if that's because Russia has been incredibly perfidious throughout this entire conflict. Although reading through news reports about the deal suggests that Türkiye will be acting as something of a guarantor for the deal so it makes some sense that the deals are made between them.

Where is the military ship? I see a coaster alongside.
Why would the USA deliver missiles by ship rather than by aircraft?
A cargo ship would take around a month to get from a port in the USA to Odessa.

If the Russians are launching rockets at the port then how is any ship or worker loading grain going to be safe?
They agreed not to target the port facilites.

It is the port being targeted when they agreed not to target the port.

Why would a Ukrainian talk to a Russian? The word of a Russian has no value. Talking to Russia isn't like talking to a legitimate state with a legitimate leader who respects the rule of law. Russia is of a lesser class of nations who simply can't be trusted. They're engaged in a genocide (that has your full-throated support) once a country becomes that depraved, conversation is over.

Ukraine war: Kyiv's forces moving towards occupied Kherson - Zelensky

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky says his forces are advancing "step by step" into the occupied southern region of Kherson.

On Saturday, UK defence officials reported heavy fighting near Kherson.
The Ukrainian advance meant that Russian supply lines west of the river were "increasingly at risk".
