hard to see how that would be justified or legal. Russia and the US are not at war, and even if we were revoking citizenship is not a criminal punishment.

Marine Le Pen's party is binning its 8-page electoral tract, which features a picture of her shaking hands with Vladimir Putin. Apparently that's not a vote-winner any more! 1.2 million copies had been printed.

I am sure the picture will be used by the other parties.

Is she also binning all the rubles or using it as toilet paper as it is now cheaper then a real roll?

Where do you think America learned it from?

Sooner or later we're going to have to come to terms with the GOP having been deeply compromised by Russia over the past few decades. I don't know exactly how far down the rot goes, but in a party based around personally attacking everyone who isn't them very few critters have so much as a harsh word to say about Putin, and that's a bad sign.
 
Pakistan announces it will import 2 million tons of wheat and natural gas from Russia

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan announced Monday that his country will import about 2 million tons of wheat from Russia and buy natural gas as well under bilateral agreements the two sides signed last week during his official trip to Moscow.
Khan pressed on with his two-day visit and met with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin on Thursday, hours after Russian forces invaded Ukraine, with Western countries pushing to isolate the Russian leader for his actions.

On Monday, the Pakistani prime minister defended his trip and responded to critics in a televised speech to the nation, saying Pakistan's economic interests required him to do so.
"We went there because we have to import 2 million tons of wheat from Russia. Secondly, we have signed agreements with them to import natural gas because Pakistan's own gas reserves are depleting," Khan said.
"Inshallah (God willing), the time will tell that we have had great discussions," the Pakistani leader said, referring to his three-hour meeting with Putin. He shared no further details.

Khan in his address Monday reiterated that Pakistan's decision to join the U.S.-led war on terrorism in Afghanistan was an outcome of "the wrong foreign policy" of his predecessors.

Really, only the officers know what's going on in most regular units. And the officers started stationing themselves further and further away from the fight as the days go by, to the point where they are out of radio range at this point, and no one can contact them.

The exception to this was some paratrooper and special forces units. Some VDV companies were briefed on airfields they were going to seize, but even then only a couple were. Even spetsnaz was kept out of the loop. It seems like somewhere in between Putin and his generals, there was a miscommunication or a lie. All of the supply vehicles are still outside of Ukraine, and the ones that went with the troops into Ukraine have already been destroyed or exhausted.

The spetsnaz teams were told it was a three day excursion, now anyone who is surviving has to commit war crimes by literally raiding petrol stations and food stores of civilians. A lot of regular soldiers refuse to fight and are just walking away.

Most of the ones you see fighting now are those who have hard charger officer.

Almost no one can get a hold of central command, it's not even a matter of jamming, there's just no long range commo [e]quipment or relays that went with the troops there."

What have you done to check the authenticity before posting here?

Seriously, why is this forum mostly just a news digest / re-blog, with personal ad-hoc opinions?
We all know how to get the latest sensations from all the ordinary outlets of traditional media and social media. And we all have opinions.

What I am missing here, hour after hour, is skeptical discourse - fact-checking and the like.

Are you all happy that Skepticism is not happening on ISF?
 
Maersk and MSC, the two largest cargo shipping companies in the world, have halted all cargo shipments to/from Russia.

How do we even know Russian troops are in Ukraine at all? Has anyone gone to fact check?
