Three of the major film studios...Disney, Warners, and now Sony have pulled their films from Russian release; I suspect that Paramount and Universal will do the same. Going to increase the sense of isolation; thokugh with the Russian economy going into collapse there would not be much money for movies anyway.

Russia must stop Ukraine acquiring nuclear weapons - Lavrov

Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, has told the UN Conference on Disarmament in Switzerland that it is time for US nuclear weapons in Europe to go home.

Lavrov was expected to appear in person in Geneva but travel bans prevented that - so in a pre-recorded message he said Russia was ready to talk about strategic stability with the US, but he warned that the West must not build military facilities in countries of the former Soviet Union.

He also appeared to offer a new justification of Russia's invasion in Ukraine – to prevent Ukraine acquiring nuclear weapons.

Here's a report I pulled today - tweets with the hashtag "myocarditis" stopped for 30+ hours. Tweets with the hashtag "covid19vaccine" stopped happening for even longer than that.

A bunch of antivax and generally disruptive hashtags are showing odd trends right now.

What trolls and bots they do have are now spreading disinformation about the war.

Can the guy just pick one lie and stick with it for his reasons for invasions?

Or is he really thinks if he'll make up enough stories everyone will believe at least one of them?

I understand, and my request for a better source was sincere. However, I think if you read the entire Wikipedia article I linked to on the Lavada center and their heroic efforts to produce objective, scientific results, you'll be impressed.

“We’re extending the family scheme so that actually very considerable numbers would be eligible you could be talking about a couple of hundred thousand, maybe more.
Additionally we’re going to have a humanitarian scheme, and then a scheme by which UK companies and citizens can sponsor individual Ukrainians to come to the UK.”

Home office says 100,000 is thought to be the entire total of potentially eligible close family members in Ukraine, not an estimate of how many will actually come.

Someone is telling porkies somewhere. Patel still says it only applies to a spouse or child under 18.

He would do just the opposite of whatever he thought was expected of him and breaking the law was nothing if he didn't like it. I wouldn't be surprised if he has oppositional defiance disorder. A former boss who fired Bentley said he had a drinking problem and mid-level narcissism. He certainly does enjoy his status as a 'celebrity' in Russia and Crimea and loves he attention.

If we're going after morons and their reaction to what is going on,

Kirstie Ally (Former star, current has-been and total nut job) took out a tweet saying she doesn't know who to trust in this situation.

She got bombarded so hard on this - including from her former DWTS partner who is currently in Ukraine - that she had another meltdown.

I also loved Leah Remini jumping on her on the issue.
For context of those whose are unaware - Alley is a scientologist and Remini left the cult and is heavily attacking anything involving them.
 
Stories of people that have been collecting aid for Ukraine having their transport and cargo held up by UK customs.
Another Brexit plus.

Also the inevitable scammers setting up appeals on Facebook and Twitter.
