Michael Avenatti thread

This reminds me of what frat and high school boys would say to women split tails after they used them, and then treated them like ****. The women split tails would say, "You're an ass hole and a douche."

"Well, you let me **** you so what does that make you?!"

Someone that probably cared about the person before they found out who they really are, but then again because that guy is cool to some. Looks like at least a few in this thread.

FTFY.

She let him **** her so she could get on The Apprentice. A promise he made, and she even said she groaned coming out of the bathroom because she knew what she was about to do.

Sounds like a very virtuous woman, no doubt. The endgame is hilarious...she continued her career as a whore, and he went on to become The President of The United States.

But hey, at least she can joke about his naked looks. And he can fall back on the fact that he nailed her. :D

I really love that you think she is a real accomplishment that he can fall back on while also calling her insulting names.

So transparent that I have to marvel at it.

About 16.5 moons ago I stated that Avenetti was a better lawyer than Cohen.

I think that is still true.

I never saw where Cohen was practicing law.

Avenetti should be held accountable for his actions. I never really thought he was anything more than a gutter rat but he was the gutter rat the nation needed. At the time, our president was a gutter rat and sometimes you need some to sink lower than the enemy. I do hope the judge considers his service to the nation in sentencing.

In retrospect, the Daniels revelations really didn't accomplish much. Everyone already knew Trump was a POS before and continued to know it after. His poor character was a known quantity. You can't shame the shameless, so nobody who supported him really gave a **** that a known degenerate was exposed doing degenerate things.

Avenatti was a detriment. He lead Daniels to ruin by overplaying his hand with a loser defamation case that lead to her having to pay SLAPP fees, and it sounds like he squandered away much of the money that she was rightly due as damages. She would have been far better off with a different, more ethical, lawyer who was more focused on protecting her interests and less concerned with grandstanding in the press.

Are you serious? Are you new to everything that happened? She said why. She let him **** her so she could get on The Apprentice.

What's your argument here? That she already made herself look bad, so continuing to do so doesn't make any difference?

Well, you might be right, but...

Look! Squirrel! Let's not talk about Trump. Let's focus on Daniels instead. She's WAAAAAAY worse for having sex with Trump than he is for having sex with her while his wife is still recovering from the birth of his son! Daniels wasn't married at the time of the encounter, Trump was.

Considering this thread is about Avenatti, it's kind of funny to say we should be talking about Trump instead of Daniels, as if Trump wasn't a distraction.

But how you're criticizing Daniels for sleeping with Trump because she found him unattractive, not Avenatti. Funny that.

Well, as far as I know, Avenatti didn't sleep with Trump.

Though honestly, I don't think it would surprise me.

It also seems clear that Daniels basically engaged in legalized extortion, when negotiating her payoff and NDA deal.

In the mid-2010s, adult film actress Stormy Daniels and Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal retained Davidson to negotiate payments in exchange for refraining from publicly discussing their sexual encounters with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Then she got the NDA invalidated by Avenatti. Presumably so she could make more money off of her tales of whoredom.

Daniels filed a lawsuit against Trump on March 6, 2018, claiming that the non-disclosure agreement she signed about the alleged affair was invalid since Trump never personally signed it despite acknowledging that she accepted the payment made in exchange for her silence in the matter.

Yeah, when she makes jokes about Trump, I do laugh...at her.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? :boggled:

Nothing, really, except it's funny.

But if you're still upset about Trump/Stormy being a derail, I would suggest you blame the person who actually brought it up.

Exactly.

No, it's not.

If you think I'm "upset about Trump/Stormy being a derail" then this conversation is a waste of time because clearly you have missed the point. Or are choosing to act like you have. Either way....Buh-bye.

No, it's not.

Humor is subjective, but I suspect I’m not the only one amused by the notion that Avenatti was going after Trump because he’s a spurned lover.

It’s entirely possible I missed your point. Perhaps you should do a better job of expressing it next time.

Thread bump...

From: CBC Canada
...Michael Avenatti was sentenced...to 14 years in prison and ordered to pay $7 million...after admitting he cheated four of his clients out of millions of dollars. The sentence should run consecutively to the five-year prison term he is currently serving for separate convictions...It is the last of three major federal criminal cases... Avenatti pleaded guilty earlier this year ...saying he wanted to be accountable and spare his family further embarrassment. He was accused of negotiating and collecting settlement payments on behalf of his clients and instead funnelling the money to accounts he controlled.

So could this be the end of it? The last we ever hear of Avenatti? The guy who seemed like such a rising star when all this started, and now ends with him with yet one more jail sentence.

It's awesome, and he was a darling for a lot of Dems...some even in this thread. Of course, revisionist history will not allow them to admit it. Got famous representing a whore, and was celebrated in the process. Typical Dem delight.

Now gets to do a decent prison stint.

Delicious.
