Non-academics are, in my experience,* unaware that funding agencies, particularly govt agencies, don't award research grants to individuals. Grants are awarded to institutions. The money is handled and accounted for by the institutions, subject to audit by govt. Principal investigators (the people in charge of funded projects) would risk annihilating their careers if they tried to step sideways with so much as a pfenning.


* Starting in 1970 at the U of Colo Boulder.

Yes, this does seem to be true. I'm a retired hospital worker who took precautions against a wide range of hazards on the job for 31 years. I didn't spend a single moment "living in fear." I just wasn't a reckless idiot, and wore masks, gloves, gowns, etc., as required. This pandemic is annoying as hell, but once again I'm not an idiot, and I'll do what's necessary to keep myself and others as safe as possible.

I really have no respect for snowflakes who'd do otherwise.

But you do live in fear. You're afraid of everyone. You posted before about how you walk the streets constantly checking for potential attackers, every time you go out. You don't trust anyone. You believe there is a massive global conspiracy of psychopaths influencing all events everywhere.

No, you wouldn't. You've already claimed to have had Covid twice, a guess you made from the symptoms you had because you didn't get tested, and you didn't use Ivermectin either time.

If you have anything substantive to say about zinc, go right ahead. I, for one, am always open to new ideas and information.

Precisely. I have vaccinations and take sensible precautions so that I don't have to live in fear.

The lack of self awareness is simply breathtaking isn't it? They post links they clearly haven't even bothered to fully read, let alone question, believing them solely because they say what they want to believe. When we do question (or more often completely demolish) them they just go looking for another piece of misinformation they can mindlessly parrot. Bubba is the worst offender.
