Cont: Corona Virus Conspiracy Theories Part IV

That's the whole thing: it's exactly a matter of time. In time, Covid will become an extra flu to have each year, because by then we all will have had it a couple of times.
But we have to postpone that moment for as long as possible, slow the spread and vaccinating as much as possible in order to have the best health outcome for the largest number of people.
We are very much in a "natives getting exposed to smallpox" situation, only with vastly better medicine.

So, mark one down for advocacy, then. Of course, none of those diseases had infection survival rates of 99.74%, or even 99.99% weighted for the vast majority of the healthy population, despite the fact that even if Covid did not, it still wouldn't warrant involuntary quarantine. Any of the other clowns want to hop over from denial to advocacy like Hans did? We all know it's just a matter of time.

Advocacy? Nope. There you go LYING again. You seem to have a deep deep desire to make false statement just so you can be wrong.

Yes 850,000 people dead - not a problem right? Long term health problems, not a problem right? Overwhelm the health care system? Nah not a problem.

SAD

Exactly. I see it mutating into a less dangerous form but it may take a few years.

Tippet is just mad he was wrong about so much and he cannot give up on the idea that people dying is OK - as long as it isn't him.

No, I acknowledge that you are in favor of the pending legislation, and fully support involuntarily quarantining people in camps at the whims of "health officials". This wasn't difficult to predict.

Involuntary quarantine for a disease with tiny fractional infection fatality rates would raise eyebrows in most sane, well adjusted people, but clearly not in pseudo-skeptical clown's eyes. If this is all routine, then why the new legislation that clearly does exactly what I said it does, in plain english?

And yet it obviously does not do that in most people. Do you see yourself as one of a very special small minority of sane, well adjusted people?

LOL still lying huh? Okay you can troll all you want but I am just going to laugh at yhou

Can I play too?

I acknowledge that you are in favor of a Turner Diaries style revolution in which everyone with a vaccination card will be hung from street lamps by the heroic freedom fighters. Right? That's what you're advocating, right?

On second thought, this game is ******* stupid.

I believe that this is where all those right-thinking, blue blooded Americans come out gunz-a-blazin' to fight against the tyranny of government. I will watch for it on the 6 o'clock news.

Like they did in Portland?

Maybe Tippet sees the opportunity to deflect from being so wrong about covid itself in favor of diverting to a discussion about the evil government.

You're the one who is lying. You defend the idea of involuntary quarantine, you cite bogus mortality statistics in an effort to defend the idea of just how dangerous Covid is, citing long term health problems and health care problems, and then you pretend that you aren't in favor of involuntary quarantine. This is clown behavior.

Admit it, Covid patients should be involuntarily quarantined, with no due process.

You're the one who is lying. You defend the idea of involuntary quarantine,

Yawn, no I do not I pointed out that historically societies did so and will continue to do so in future. I do support court ordered quarantine for those with infectious diseases that are easy to spread - NOT THOSE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN VAC and are not ill. Which is what you seem to screaming and ranting about.

Got it now?

I have no problem with people who have a misplaced trust in so-called health authorities, and who consent to injecting themselves with toxic substances for diseases which, in all likelihood will not kill them or even send them to the hospital.

On the other hand, for the people who advocate involuntary quarantine without due process, and forcing unwanted medical procedures on the general population, swinging from streetlamps for such people would be a kindness.

When paired with pending legislation that would involuntarily confine people without due process, and possibly subject them to medical procedures that they object to, then the answer is clearly yes. If that legislation passes, and people start getting kidnapped, this will go kinetic.

Tippit. I live in Washington State, and I can assure you that there are no Black Ops forces kicking in doors and ordering people into unmarked vans at gunpoint to sweep them off to secret government bases where they are medically experimented with against their will. Real life isn't the X-Files.

There are, however, some motels offering places for people experiencing homelessness to stay while they are in quarantine. It's voluntary. They are free to freeze on the street if they choose. Some do.

Didn't we already play this game and he lost multiple time and then went on vacation?

We've told him that - he 'forgot' to read the link he made to that Washington state death pit gulag......lol

We have similar places in Oregon also.

The beginning of Covid concentration camps in America? First, here's a link to some proposed legislation in Washington State that basically eliminates due process for anyone deemed infected or contagious by a "health officer":

WAC 246-100-040
Procedures for isolation or quarantine.

You clowns are like 0 for 6 at keeping on topic. Is the Washington State legislature disinformation?
The housing issue has already been answered, but as expected, you miss some important details regardng the legislation.

First of all, it has been in place since 2003, long before COVID-19 was even whispered of in the intellectual darkness of conspiracy corners.

Secondly, the only reason it has been mentioned is due to recent twisting of the Washington Board of Health's published agenda for a meeting that was held on 12 January, 2022. The agenda said they would continue discussion about proposed changes to WAC 246-100.

This fact and the false conspiracy claims are documented here.

https://www.nbcrightnow.com/news/wa...cle_7fdeebca-727b-11ec-a1ad-8760e3f062f5.html

Also, from that article:

WAC 246-100 talks about certain communicable diseases and STD modernization. The changes the board of health will be making to the law would be to remove HIV exceptionalism. These changes would be in line with Engrossed Substitute House Bill 1551 (ESHB 1551), which passed June 11, 2020. The board is required to make editorial changes and other changes specifically in reference to HIV and AIDs.

However, people focused on another section of the WAC 246-100... Chapter 040. This chapter states, "a local health officer may issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine." However, that is used as a last resort and only if the person or group of people are a danger to public health.

...

"There are no plans to include covid for mandatory isolation and quarantine orders," Grellner said.

I leave it to you to find out for yourself the actual minutes of that meeting.

I never claimed there were. My OP linked to pending legislation. Did you bother to read it? It's a primary source.

Wrong. The entire order is due process, and as part of it the health officer is required to inform the person(s) detained of their rights:
WAC 246-100-040 said:
NOTICE: You have the right to petition the superior court for release from isolation or quarantine in accordance with WAC 246-100-055. You have a right to legal counsel. If you are unable to afford legal counsel, then counsel will be appointed for you at government expense and you should request the appointment of counsel at this time. If you currently have legal counsel, then you have an opportunity to contact that counsel for assistance.

Further, the order must be heard and granted by a court (section 4.) The maximum quarantine time for any given order is ten days, although the health officer may apply for extensions of up to thirty days.

This stands in contrast to concentration camps, where the time in detention is usually open-ended, typically until the emergency is over (such as the detention of Canadians of Japanese descent in World War II) or the camps are liberated by opposing forces (actual WWII concentration camps.)

Here is an example of one of the innocuously named "quarantine camps", replete with some slick marketing videos of how wonderful they are:

Isolation/Quarantine Facilities Department of Community and Human Services

I'll grant that if you're deeply suspicious of the government and see this as a backhanded way to detain a certain part of the population, this comes across a propaganda. I can think of two ways to see if this actually is the case:
  • Has the government in question has mounted similar disinformation campaigns in the past?
  • Does the average person in the street see this as legitimate information or government lies? (My impression of places where the government routinely stretches the truth or outright lies about things is most people distrust what the government says.)

Time for you pseudo-skeptical clowns to pivot from absolute denial into acceptance and advocacy? Too soon? Not enough evidence? I didn't bother to link any alternative news reports for this, because obviously you would dismiss the source using the ad hom fallacy, so I just linked to the actual WA state legislature, and the King County Covid "isolation" facility.

Where this order differs from similar orders in Europe targeting Jews and Roma are:
  • The people the order targets are an immediate danger to others around them due to having a contagious disease and failing to observe protocols that reduce the danger;
  • are not targeted simply by being members of a cultural or ethnic group;
  • have rights of appeal to the courts; and
  • the courts are still functioning as expected.
