Uri Geller promises to stop Brexit using telepathy

I posted this on a psi sympathetic forum "psience quest" to see what the response would be. Also I remarked the only thing that should not be bent in the publicity photo is his arm.

Uri Geller once claimed to have stopped a penalty being scored during an England international football game because the if the goal was scored it might have started a crowd trouble. So Uri, who was over the stadium in a helicopter, used his psychic powers to stop the goal being scored.

Nutjob.

Geez, at least he could have admitted that he stopped the goal from being scored because he had a bet on the other team. :D

Wait, Uri Geller is still around? As an entity someone deems worthy of attention?

When did the world get this weird.

There may be a couple of generations out there now who have no idea who he is or have even noticed he had something to say.

He's given up on Brexit. He is now claiming to have found the Arc of the Covenant

I know where the Arc of the Covenant is I will find it mark my words. It will be an earth shattering historical tsunami and an archeological and a theological earthquake. Dowsing ancient soap factory I located under my museum gave me the inspiration! http://urigeller.museum

the Ark of the Covenant is in the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion in Ethiopia.

I guess Geller has learned to use Wikipedia.

Well, that is the claim.

In a 1992 interview, Edward Ullendorff, former Professor of Ethiopian Studies at the University of London, says that he personally examined the ark contained within the church in 1941 while a British army officer.
Describing the ark, he says, "They have a wooden box, but it's empty. Middle- to late-medieval construction, when these were fabricated ad hoc."

Sorry! This is all my fault.

You see, a while ago I found the Ark of the Covenant at yard sale, so I paid $5.00 for it.

And then just recently I ran into Uri Geller and we chatted where I explained what I found and how it would make a good planter box for fern plants after putting some purple spray paint on it.

But I had not done anything with the Ark of Covenant just yet.

So he offered me $10.00 for the Ark of Covenant, and since that was double what I paid for it and since I really do not like fern plants anyway, I sold the Ark of the Covenant to him.

Gee whiz! With all of this kerfluffle, I suppose that I should have not taken less than $15.00 for the Ark of Covenant.

next you will suggest that the Shroud of Turin isn't authentic ...
