All we have is a strong popular consensus, science, and the concept of medical choice and privacy.
What they have is a screwy electoral map.

Stop bringing that sort of truth into the thread. It’s ******* depressing.

All twins are parasitic, but some are more parasitic than others.
You could replace twins with siblings and that would still match my experience.
Haven't read the thread to the bottom so may be repeating, but this can go the other way too. Two separate embryos merging to become one individual.
I know. But I want one of the "Bu muh opinion!" people to explain to my why if it's just a matter of opinion they automatically get their way.

So you accept that there is no such thing as an "inalienable" right in the real world. A good start.
In my experience, secretly switching out people with imposters leads to nothing but trouble. Sure, it's good for a few laughs in the short run, but ultimately it all turns to drama.
Really? It is LITERALLY part of her.
I mean, if the point is futility, fine. But the answer has been pretty clear.
Because babies are being murdered.
That will always be the answer on this subject. It may meander a bit and use every shady rhetorical/propaganda tool possible, try to sound scientific, etc. but once you filter it that is what we are left with.
If I actually truly thought babies were being murdered I'd probably be unable to engage in rational discussion. Of course, same if I were convinced my cat was Hitler and needed to be stopped before it went back in time and took human form. Which is slightly less reasonable but far less destructive a belief... I mean, except to the cat.

Why do you value a potential human being over that of an actual human being?
I don't value the life of the fetus over that of the mother, I consider them equal. In most normal pregnancies, the choice is not between the life of the fetus and the life of the mother, it is a choice between the life of the fetus and the right of the woman to do what she wants with her own body. Two different kinds of choices. Get it right.
I think there maybe times when the right of the fetus to live exceeds the right of the mother to do what she wants with her own body.
Are you ever going to give a good reason why anyone should accept your belief on this?I think there maybe times when the right of the fetus to live exceeds the right of the mother to do what she wants with her own body.
The embryo or zygote is not part of her. It is it's own separate lifeform. I believe DNA tests would show that.
It has half her DNA so it is literally part of her. It's true both before and after birth. We are all parts of our parents...literally.
um . . . no. It may have half her DNA, but not 100%. It also has half the father's. But any DNA expert would say it is not the same lifeform as the mother. You have half your mother's DNA yet you don't belong to her, you are a separate lifeform.
Then you value a potential Human Being, over an actual Human being.
