EU warns Putin about German Elections....

So that tells you how "the media" sells a fake reality. These guys turned it on themselves and many of their followers bought it because they are so used to these methods. But of course it was all BS. Nobody who looked behind the curtain will ever go back. On the other hand, you can't wake up someone who only pretends to be asleep.

Hm
So the fact that some youtuber managed to put together a fake documentary about CT that could potentially pass as something coming out of the main stream media (nice touch with the Brennpunkt NRW) proves what exactly. That it's possible to fool people with fakes on YT? That's not exactly surprising news, is it?

Regarding those "who looked behind the curtain and will never go back":
My bet would be that once the whole Covid issue has boiled down to being treated like the seasonal flue (which will take longer than necessary thanks to the anti-vaxxers) they'll be back to chem-trails, electro-smog and other such nonsense. Without the unifying traction of the Covid pandemic, we will see a lot fewer "querdenker" demonstrations. The lunatics were always there, Covid was just about perfect to get them all on the same bandwagon. And that explains the 1.6% of dieBasis.

While I hope you are right, I doubt it.

There is already some overlap between covidiots and climate change deniers (AfD for example).
As soon as the morons lose Covid as their topic, they will unite under that banner.

If Germany can't generate enough power on its own, it can always buy some from the French. It is not as if Germany giving up on its own nuclear generation, that it is suddenly disconnected from all atomic power. Running low on natural gas may be annoying for some Germans using it for heating and cooking, though. Induction cooking and passivhauses for the win!

Long term, sure. But the infrastructure isn't currently in place to allow enough electricity imports to replace gas, nor do I think France has enough excess capacity to provide it. Again, time scales matter. The time scales for the necessary changes you refer to are measured in years to decades, not weeks to months. And running out of heating in the middle of winter is more than an annoyance.
