Now now now, 44% of america loves them some dog ****. So we have to keep it, because it was put there by God!

That 44% mainly loves how much the rest hate it--they love that so much they're willing to eat it themselves just to see the rest struggle with it.

I'm not confident that Facebook will keep Trump off for much longer than the next six months, but I'm glad their committee upheld the ban for now. I'd expect to see him back and then banned again within the year, but this is just based on Trump being Trump.
It feels like 90% of his blather that I did see was from his Tweety postings (usually copied here).
Was his Facebook presence actually substantial?

Could it have anything to do with not being able to comment?
Re T****'s FB and Twatter accounts: It was always interesting to see the public comments in response to @ReelDonny in those forums. By far the most common responses were detractors, and some of them were hilarious (I suspect more than one from forumites here ;)). But obviously none of them filtered back to Toupee Fiasco, because he wasn't the one reading them. Donny doesn't read stuff. He has his "filtering staff" do all that reading stuff for him while he is punishing golf balls.

Detractors, indeed.
He and the GOP loved to cite his ~60 million "followers", but I doubt much more than half were "fans".

From what I've read, Facebook offers broad opportunities for fundraising, and modern American politics seems to be all about the money.

Lindsey Graham speaking to Hannity on Fox

"It's impossible for this party to move forward without President Trump being its leader"

"The people who are trying to erase him are going to wind up getting erased.”

I suppose you do this for a reason.

I came up with it, far as I know. Glad that it's catching on.

I thought you had picked it up from me. I've been using it for at least a few years. I was tickled to death the first time I saw it in one of your posts.

Oh well. It's a pretty obvious modification. Great minds think alike, as they say.

But name calling really doesn't help advance your case.

We don't use it to advance our case. We use it to label a now-insane political party by calling it repugnant.

Exactly. The basket of deplorables is overflowing. That other basket that Hillary mentioned is all but empty.

At the time I suspected it always was. Only a few short years has proven that to be true.

Trump has stated that a "junky" horse winning the Kentucky Derby is just another symptom of everything wrong with the country since the election.

"So now even our Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit, is a junky. This is emblematic of what is happening to our Country. The whole world is laughing at us as we go to hell on our Borders, our fake Presidential Election, and everywhere else."

He’s like a tired, 3rd-rate Vegas lounge act.

Hey Donnie, sing “Piano Man” again!

He did the windmill one again today:

" Congratulations to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts for the privilege they will have in looking at massive windmills that have been approved by the Biden Administration and are being built, in China of course, as part of an extraordinarily large wind farm. Wind is an incredibly expensive form of energy that kills birds, affects the sea, ruins the landscape, and creates disasters for navigation. Liberals love it, but they can’t explain why. In any event, Martha’s Vineyard, an absolutely wonderful place, will never be the same. Good Luck!"

That actually makes me a little bit more interesting in visiting Martha's Vineyard, honestly. Not his lying blather, of course, but that I think that an off shore wind farm would make an ocean view much more interesting.

Jesus, unlike the beauty that is a sky filled with the aromatic fragrance of coal. No eyesores with that, no costs or deaths there. He loves coal for reasons he no doubt cannot explain why.

Creates disasters for navigation? That sounds like the ravings of a pig ignorant technophobe. It is pretty easy for 21st century navigation equipment to avoid wind turbines.

And please, sir, learn the difference between landscape and seascape, otherwise many people will think you are not very bright and might even laugh at you.

And while we're at it, calling the horse a "Junky"? Like the horse had any say in the matter?

The GOP has had a “blame the victim” plank in their political platform for many decades.

I think many of us will live to see some right-winger say “well, why were those kids in Michigan drinking tap water anyway? Just another example of poor choices.”
