The behaviour of US police officers

There's something wrong with this but I can't quite put my finger on it....

Oh yes I can. 2000 kids A DAY are arrested. WTF is wrong with you lot?

Yeah but there are 75 million children under the age of 18 so that's less than 0.003% - you lefties don't talk about all the children who aren't arrested.

Presumably the rest are hiding from mass shooters.

Jan6 Capitol invader claims he was hospitalized in premeditated beating by DC prison guard.

A lawyer for Capitol riot defendant Ryan Samsel says he zip-tied and beaten by a CO at the DC jail on March 21.
The lawyer says the DOC and FBI are looking into the incident.

Alleges that the guard beat him so badly it broke the orbital bones in his right eye, perhaps causing permanent blindness and causing at least 1 seizure.

Cops will be cops. But it suddenly matters when the ones getting the jail house beatings are not black.

You know how the old saying goes:

" A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. A liberal is just a conservative who's been beat within an inch of his life by a prison guard."

Black man arrested while taking out trash after neighbor calls cops on her white boyfriend. Even after the neighbor came out and told the cops that the black man wasn't her white boyfriend, the cops continued the arrest, then arrested the man's girlfriend for interfering with their arrest of the wrong man. Can't make this **** up. This happened in 2019, but the video was just ordered released by a judge against the wishes of the LAPD.

But he really was black to the extent of being aggressively black and so needed to be arrested.

Caron Nazario is a US Army lieutenant who was driving an SUV through the town of Windsor, when he was stopped by police. He drove to a gas station before stopping and then was threatened, pepper-sprayed and attacked by the police who pulled him over. When he told them that he was "honestly scared to get out of the car", as they were pointing guns at him, the policeman responded "You should be".

Here's the video of the interaction:

and an article about the lawsuit that Nazario has filed

Yet another example of power-tripping police officers. They peppersprayed him solely because he wasn't obeying their slightest whims.

"You should be". This is saying the quiet thing out loud. They want everyone they come into contact with to be afraid for their life.

They're white police officers. They'll get away with this.

I'm sure his colour was a factor as well ;)

Apparently it's his own fault because he didn't comply with the instructions to keep his hands outside the window and at the same time take his belt off and open the door.

And the reason for the stop? They didn't see the temporary tag that was taped to his rear window.

People who keep parroting the "if you just comply" line willfully ignore this complication. Comply with which one? Two men with guns in your face simultaneously yelling contradictory instructions at you.

Police departments need to standardize the procedure that when more than one officer is at a scene, only ONE of them should be giving commands to any one citizen and the rest of them need to STFU.
