Or selective media coverage, re gang shootouts anyway.
The DC snipers, just right off the top of my head.

I guess it's not really an important aspect of the story but I see a lot reported of "extremist Islamic posts" and "support of isis" being spread. Is there actually any evidence of these out there in the media? I've seen some of his social media posts and none were extremist to me at all. The MSM loves to spin this into whatever will drive the most clicks and views, but would be nice to know more actual facts.

That really suggests paranoid schizophrenia.
Wonder when/where this guy got his gun?
Phil Plait lives there. He or anyone else named Plait were not on the casualty list.
You are confusing the MSM with right wing newsites and sources.

There is no definition there that I can find what they are including in their data.It doesn't matter who or how many I can name, here's another set of data.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/476456/mass-shootings-in-the-us-by-shooter-s-race/
The don't define mass shooter but the percentages about the same as the previous link, 54% white.
If you assume all the unknowns are white, its about 60%. Pretty close to the general population.
Name one non-white mass shooter in the US that you are aware of. Other than the Asian guy who shot up Virginia Tech, I don't recall a single one.
I probably have selective memory.
If we add terrorism in here one could call Middle Eastern men, non-white, I suppose.
In the case of the Pulse, I don't remember, did he call out Allah Akbar or whatever? Seems to me he fit more into the deranged white guy: an anti-gay gay guy. My memory is fuzzy on that one.
The San Bernardino couple also fit into the Middle Eastern terrorists.
I still put all those men into the white category, but if anyone wants to say they are non-white I wouldn't argue

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orlando_nightclub_shooting#MotiveDuring the shooting, Mateen made a 9-1-1 call claiming it was an act of retaliation for the airstrike killing of, among others, ISIL militant Abu Waheeb in the previous month. He told the negotiator to tell America to stop the bombing.[48][128]
As I said in my post, however, the numbers are consistent with the previous linked site. At least I've attempted to find evidence other than what I can remember. There is no definition there that I can find what they are including in their data.
I think you're still making up a definition that includes different categories of non-white shooters based on the number of victims.
Doesn't fit what I know to be true.God, why can't people accept the fact that homicidal maniacs come in all colors?
See my post above about terrorists and whether Middle Eastern men count as white. By all means include them, I don't care.2013 Ft. Hood attack
2013 Boston Marathon bombing (two attackers and included shootings)
2015 Garland, TX attempted attack on Draw Mohammed contest (two attackers).
I think these can only be counted as "white" if the initial forum consensus is to provisionally conclude that there's a racist or white supremacist motive.
One of the largest lone shooter mass murders in US history. No Allah Akbar that I recall.
The American born of Afghan immigrants shooter is hardly what we mean by "white guy". What are you limiting "non-white" to mean?
Some of these homophobic men strike out because they hate their own homosexual desires.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orlando_nightclub_shooting#Motive
The shooting may have only been coincidental to the night being a popular night for homosexuals. Which goes to my point regarding the news in the first week or so.
The FBI official doubts he was gay, at least there was no direct evidence of it.
It's makes sense on paper. Where is the evidence in real life?God, why can't people accept the fact that homicidal maniacs come in all colors?
