Ed Corona Virus Conspiracy Theories....

I don't know what H1N1 is.

Seriously?
Let me remind you of YOUR OWN LINK:

The second line of that article:
Now I take you back to the summer of 2009, when the CDC and the World Health Organization were hyping the “deadly H1N1 Swine Flu pandemic.”

The ENTIRE article is about H1N1.

:jaw-dropp

Could you just tell me what these inconsistencies are, or perhaps start with one inconsistency at a time?

I have already, in this post:

You're right, it will not change my scepticism. Scepticism means following the evidence, and I see no reason to stop doing that.
That article won't change my beliefs either. I assume you have done your research, so you will know how Atkisson's CBS article refutes the claim made in the Rappoport piece that cites it as evidence. What are your thoughts on this?

Did you link to this as an excercise in critical thinking, just to show how sloppy and dishonest conspiracy theory claims like this actually are? If so, what have you learned from this?

What you appear to be saying is that, not only do you not read anyone else's posts, you don't even read your own.
Unbelievable. :eye-poppi

How can you expect anyone to take you seriously when you post links to "evidence" from crackpots, and then when asked specific questions about the claims in the posts, you express ignorance of the subject?

You clearly aren't reading these links yourselves, or researching their sources. You're just throwing any crap you find against the wall and hoping some of it sticks. And your argument still depends on the comically outrageous assumption that the entirety of the world's medical community is complicit in hiding the "fact" that COVID-19 is just a common cold. That assumption is, as yet, too embarrassingly preposterous, even to you, for you to directly address. But I strongly suspect that if forced to choose between admitting error or openly embracing that as a necessary element of the conspiracy, you will opt for the latter.

My bad.

I'll leave the pontificating to US Covidist Pontiff Tony Fauci, who I mistakenly took as Holy See for all the world's Orthodox Covidists.

Does it come as a surprise to you to learn that the USA is only 5% of the world's population, and that Fauci is not influential and is quite unimportant to the other 95% of the world?

Here in the UK we have Professor Chris Whitty as the Chief Medical Officer and DHSC Chief Scientific Adviser. He's the British Fauci, or Fauci is the US Chris Whitty depending on which way you look at it.

Tom Palven, do you any uninformed opinions about this chap you can entertain us with?

Whitty is so well known that he featured on one of the birthday cards I got this morning. ;)

And, predictability, you flee back to the safety of another baseless claim.

Your claim (well, probably not yours) regarding Anthony Fauci is just as fatuous as your claim that the global medical community is falsely exaggerating the effects of a common cold virus. Anthony Fauci is but one expert in the U.S., whose experts are just a small percentage of the international population of experts. He's simply the one who has acted as spokesman for the U.S. infectious disease experts. The fact that you have such a tight focus on him personally, and label him as the sinister agency behind the whole "hoax", simply because you see him the most on television, makes you look like a hayseed - an impression that is compounded by the fact that you seem to think that what you see on your internet feed is what everyone else in the world sees.

And you still haven't addressed my question: have you traveled the world during the last year? And if so, did you see Anthony Fauci featured prominently on local media pushing for lockdowns and social distancing?

And again, if anyone internationally has heard of Dr. Fauci, it's certainly because of the focus placed on him by the opposition of our dangerously stupid former president. Let's face it - Trump was like a train-load of comically oversized novelty sex-toys hitting a bus full of neo-Nazis dressed in Hugo Boss-designed pantomime horse costumes. There was no looking away.

Do you realize how pathetic you look when you resort to this inaccurate and imbecilic name calling?

Sorry about pontificating.

It's just my opinion.

No. You are asserting what you claim are facts, not opinions. There is a difference, which you would do well to learn.
I suspect the reason you are now backpedalling is that you may be beginning to realise that, without any actual evidence, these claims of yours are looking increasingly untenable.
It's also worth noting, as with H1N1 for example, that having an opinion on something you know literally nothing about, might appear somewhat presumptuous.

Health-related conspiracy theories often rely on the USA being the whole world. Actually claiming that it is is a new one on me, though.

How can anyone who hasn't spent the last few years asleep not know what H1N1 is?

Professor Whitty isn't a Catholic, so Tom Palven will have to find a different way of suggesting he's part of some global conspiracy to classify 2.6 million additional deaths as normal.

Whitty is so well known that he featured on one of the birthday cards I got this morning. ;)

Something like this?

To be fair, some conspiracy theorists believe the world ends past their mother’s basement door.

Sorry I've been doing that.

Let me state for the record that anything I assert about anything is just my opinion.

If I link to anything that Tony Fauci, Chris Whitty, or Jon Rappoport says, I'm just linking to their opinions.

Even factcheck sources have opinions.

For example, it is the opinion of this factcheck source that hospitals in the US do get more money when treating alleged Covid patients or having Covid added to the major cause of death on death certificates:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...ore-covid-19-patients-coronavirus/3000638001/

Your opinion may vary.

One sees the same thing with Apollo hoax CTists. The premise requires the knowing participation of every physicist and engineer world-wide for the last half century. And when that implementation is pointed out, they don't want to talk about it.

After being repeatedly cornered I see you've moved onto something new without addressing previous points. Not unexpected but since your so highly entertaining I don't mind.

Please don't ever stop cavorting for our entertainment.
