Or we could keep trying to be ethical without demanding perfection from anyone. Just a thought.
Not looking for perfection, just consistency.

Most actors are credited. What level of ideological conformity should we expect from them?
If only I could have such confidence based in *checks notes* speculation at best.
Nonsense. No one demands any level of ideological conformity from actors.
Nonsense.
Tell that to Gina Carano. No one demands any level of ideological conformity from actors.
Tell that to Gina Carano.
This is obviously false. Every controversial tweet was ideological from start to finish. Look up what the word means. Why would I tell that to Gina Carano? She didn’t lose her job because she failed to conform ideologically.

You seem to be assuming there is some way she could've made those same points without coming off as a jackass. I remain, as ever, skeptical. That her jack-assery was a product of her ideology doesn’t mean that she lost her job because she failed to conform ideologically. She lost her job because of her jack-assery.

1. I don't believe you
2. Mainly because they are still happening and you... aren't. Like now you aren't worried about them.
The "behavior" of making posts on social media? This weird little pity party you seemed to be throwing for adults who can’t manage basic social interaction aside, none of this means she lost her job for failing to ideologically conform. She lost her job because of her behavior and her decision to continue with that behavior. Once again, this has been documented.
Until you start applying moral and ethical standard uniformly, this question has no value.
The "behavior" of making posts on social media?
This is something Disney prohibits its' actors from doing?
Tell you what... why don't you give us an outline of your moral and ethical framework, and how you yourself go about applying those standards uniformly, so we've got a starting point from which to talk?
Now, here's the odd part: the people who had a bug up their asses about Brie Larson's comments on diversity (which basically amounted to "Maybe some movies aren't made for the overwhelmingly old white men who make up movie reviewers, and they should consider adding other viewpoints to review sites.")?
It's not anyone on the left. It's almost entirely the same Simpson Characters that were in Gamergate, attacked Anita Saarkesian, and screamed about the size of She-Ra's boobs in the Netflix series.
Do we have any reason to think that it's not just yet another one of these balloon monkeys - especially given their ling-running habit of posing as black people or women (or especially black women) to push nonsense like #Endfathersday into the mainstream?
Let me know when she’s cancelled and we can discuss it.

Doesn't work, IMO. The point was to paint one's ideological opponents as irredeemably evil, but hunters just tryna eat.She could have simply said no to the whole pronouns thing and come up with something other than a Holocaust reference to seek that coveted conservative-as-victim status. Getting hunted like animals, maybe?
Remind me when the SJW shtick got someone fired. It looks like the conservatives are learning the SJW crybully shtick.
