He set it to ludicrous speed which is amazing. It jolted me back in my seat. You gotta love the movie references with the Tesla. Space Balls and This is Spinal Tap that I know of.

I drive a Nissan Leaf.

And I'm very, very happy with my car.

And the electricity to charge my car costs a helluva lot less than fossil fuels would cost. I save so much money on fuel, it's amazing. I will never go back to driving a fossil fuel car.

Hell, this week the first of 55 new electric busses were delivered to the depot I'm stationed at, for outfitting with various company IT systems. We're keeping 20 of those, mainly replacing 12 year old diesel busses, and moving to a fleet where the majority will be either hybrid or fully electric.

Granted, we do local city routes, so we can get away with using electric busses without too much trouble, but the public transport agency we drive for have been awarded a sum by the government, to being experimenting with zero-emision busses on the longer regional routes as well.

Even better, you can make the car fart. We have a Model 3. You can make fart noises come out of the stereo system. There are 5 different ones to choose from, IIRC.
 
Here are a couple of things I have noticed about the Biden Presidency

1. White House Press Conferences
No misinformation, no equivocation, no being rude to reporters. No "you'll have to ask the President that" . No churlish attitude from the press secretary.

2. Interviews with Biden Cabinet members
No bollocks. Direct, informative, truthful answers to direct questions.


Oh, wait, I forgot. This is how it is supposed to be!!!
 
Apart, perhaps, for embezzlement and other peculations, prosecuting a crime is always a waste of taxpayer dollars if you presume that the taxpayers in question and their successors will never pay any penalty for simply allowing crime. Unless you're an anarchist, that argument is bollocks.

Mitch McConnell, the former GOP Majority and now Minority Leader, has said he believes Trump has committed an impeachable offense and that Trump had "provoked" the "mob" that had been "fed lies" before attacking the Capitol. Several GOP representatives voted for impeachment along and several GOP senators have said they will vote guilty. Is that bipartisan enough for you? Take off the blinders, Chris. Stop drinking the Kool Aid.

If you want to truly understand what kind of a man you so blindly follow, read Michael Cohen's book. Yes, I know... he's a 'proven liar'. Well, so is Trump. But at least Cohen admits what he is/was and what he did. But, he also takes responsibility for it and is ashamed of himself and what he did in the service of Trump which is more than Trump will be or ever do. As Cohen said in his book, it took a lot of soul searching and taking a hard and honest look at himself in a mirror to understand just why he let himself follow Trump when he knew what kind of man Trump was.

You can even add your own custom sounds!

My Model Y now has Y-Wing engine noises, the horn is blaster fire, and I added tench run music as well!

Wife rolled her eyes at me.

That's funny. I've seen the Model X do the Christmas music where the lights and doors open and close to the music.

I like the super capacitor buses in China. No overhead wires. They recharge at every stop.

Censuring is not punishment. It is just an empty statement that does nothing. It is a wagging of the finger at someone who has committed serious crimes, not something that will cause them to change their actions.

It would not prevent Trump from running again in the future.

Why would Biden not want to run against Trump in 2024? He's the most popular elected President in the history of the United States. Don't undersell your boy.

How that plays out will decide the Republican civil war, and my money's on the McConnell Republicans, which is to say Trump gets convicted. Trump looks very small now, and withdrawn. A shark that's lost all momentum. Threats of primaries two years away, oh puhleese. A third Party, yeah that'll work. Young Turks on Capitol Hill - show us your donors, dickbrains.

It's good that this will be decided so early in the term. And if Trump is convicted it will be very Heaven.

If one party withholds agreement to impeach because of partisan concerns, while the other wants to impeach because of facts, to impeach would be based on facts and not on partisan concerns even though both parties do not agree.

When a majority of both parties agree to impeach, then the process should begin. Otherwise, you're going to have impeachments at the drop of a hat for purely political purposes.
