Isn't that totally the opposite of what he was saying before? Perhaps he sees the sinking ship of Trump and wants to hop on Pence.

That is what gets to me. A lot of these people KNOW better. They know what Trump is. They know Dear Leader is an evil idiot. But they supporting him in hopos of getting in good with this supporters.

Graham is like Werner Von Braun in that Tom Lehrer song" A man whose allegiance is governed by expedience.
 
Even after the colorful events of the day, at least the senate speeches were the inevitable. A few democrats had to speak. The republicans like Sasse and L Graham gave amusing stories of something or other, I lost what the train of though was. These were some of the most boring speeches ever made.

Not even sure what points any of them scored. Them hillbillies occupying the capitol earlier can't possibly care what any of them will say. If they are trying to hold on to the Trump voters, that is not going to work. Four years later, if it's not Trump, they won't vote.

I was somehow able to sit thru parts of the Trump impeachment, but it was much the same, but longer.
 
Oh God only 6 traitorous conspiracy loons in our highest legislative house. Nothing to worry about.
