Its what I was referring to.

The only error the Star Chamber in the movie made was the suspects they sanctioned had got off on a technicality, but were not the actual killers. In the case I advocate for, Manafort, Flynn, Papadopoulos, Kushner, the Blackwater guards, Stone etc... all tried in court, all found 100% guilty beyond any doubt whatsoever.

Trump getting angry at Pence for not doing wouth to overturn the election.
IMHO, Pence is not a total idiot, and knows Trump is going down and will do nothing.

I know that these men were undeserving of pardons because I was a member of The FBI Evidence Response Team that traveled to Iraq and investigated the site of these killings.

His argument for why these men did not deserve pardons is compelling and also personal to him.

It's not the Democrats who are responsible for McConnell and Trump.

"Plenty if stupidity" on both sides is sooo decades ago. The Democrats failed to stand up to GW Bush, I will grant you that. And they failed to come out in big enough numbers to elect Clinton. And they haven't done enough to distance themselves from the stupidity of defund the police. But feeling the need to chastise the Democrats with this false equivalence is ******** under the current circumstances.

What does he want Pence to do? The Vice President's office has no power or really any responsibilities. The only thing Pence can do for Trump is after Trump resigns.

He's still looking at his neighbors voting for two Senators. I doubt they need Graham to override the veto on a defense spending bill. Maybe McConnell gave him permission.

It looks to me like more vindictive acts from Trump: let the government shut down; let those people who didn't reelect me suffer for another month or longer, the longer the better.

He knows full well he's going for the pocket veto option on the rest of the legislation. He'll stay at Mar-a-Lago, tweeting away, getting headlines all month, and getting satisfaction out of it. We all know he wants revenge for being rejected.

OTOH, it is a little safer with him out of the WH even if it means a little chaos and financial difficulty for 26 days, 23 hours and counting down. What the states should do is prioritizing getting the vaccine out and keeping people from being evicted, making sure everyone has enough food.

And Biden should announce if we get control of Congress he's going to repair this month's damage. It's important the message, until after Jan 5th, is not too grandiose. He needs to make it clear he isn't talking 'socialism' just repairing Trump's damage.

A vote to override the one veto without Graham should happen. It will force a vote that reveals the more avid Trump supporters. IMO that might be a useful thing in the future. And hopefully with all the Democrats in the Senate there should be enough to override the veto without all the Republicans.

I would love to see the Trump-worshipping Pence have to decide a tie but sadly that doesn't happen with a needed 60 votes (or what ever the number).

I might have missed a comma or two; I meant that I would prefer stupid democracy over what the republicans have to offer
