Trump says it's terrific 15% of Americans have caught Covid.
"Speaking at a White House coronavirus vaccine event, the outgoing US president said on Tuesday: “I hear we’re close to 15 percent. I’m hearing that, and that’s terrific.” The one-term president was apparently referring to the theory of herd immunity.
Herd immunity refers to a situation where enough people in a population have immunity to an infection to be able to effectively stop that disease from spreading.
Some 70% of the US population of 330 million would need to be inoculated to achieve “herd” immunity from the virus."

Around 285,000 Americans have died with the disease and the pandemic is continuing to surge across the country."
So if 70% need to catch it then I guess that's a potential over 1 million deaths, small price to pay...
Mmm, hasn't he, at one time equaled having had the disease to being vaccinated? Perhaps when talking about his own case?
Maybe, as real vaccine is going to come too late for him to claim the honors, he is about to claim that those having been ill are now vaccinated, and will soon claim that 15% of the population has been vaccinated on his watch.
It wouldn't even be the worst lie he has told.
