The Biden Presidency

I don't know where to put this, but I ran the numbers from Wikipedia
and then added in the unfinished totals from Colorado, Idaho, Illinois,
Missouri, and New Jersey.

Biden 82,078,304 votes. Trump 75,132,056 votes.

I guess it'll wind up 82.2 versus 75.2 on Tuesday.

The Biden Team should take a look at Trump's unfulfilled promises (on health care, trade deals, immigration, job security, etc.) and see if they can't do what Trump couldn't or wouldn't.

I'm skeptical of those numbers but maybe.

Cook Political Tracker has the following numbers.

Biden: 81,270,700

Trump:74,216,308

Difference:7,054,392

I expect updates on Monday and throughout the week. But Trump isn't going to go backwards.

What about getting Mexico to pay for the wall?

Slew of new announcemtns this week.
Hopefully I will find out who my new boss at Interior will be.One thing for certain:he or she will be from a Western State. That is a unwritten law for both parties;Ithe DOI will be a Westerner.

California AG Xavier Becerra picked by Biden for HHS.

Gov Newsom will be quite busy in the coming weeks: has to name replacements for Kamala Harris and Becerra.
And if rumours are correct, also for CA secretary of state Alex Padilla.

Maybe Bullock?

Election count

Biden:81,281,672

Trump: 74,221,585

Difference: 7,060,087

Biden's already more popular than Trump's ever been

(CNN) Poll of the week: A new Gallup poll finds that President-elect Joe Biden has a 55% favorable rating and a 41% unfavorable rating.

[snip]

The highest favorable rating I could find in any live interview poll for Trump was after he won the 2016 election. His favorable rating stood at 50% in a Bloomberg News poll conducted by Selzer and Company.

the rumor is Feinstein wants Padilla to take HArris' seat, so that should be a disqualifier.

Maybe Bullock?

Better yet , nominate Daines and then Bullock appoints his replacement in the Senate.

US President-elect Joe Biden has chosen retired General Lloyd Austin as his defence secretary, US media report.

If approved, the 67-year-old who retired in 2016 would become the first African-American to lead the Pentagon.

He would need a congressional waiver as seven years are required between active duty and becoming military chief.

As did James Mattis when Trump nominated him for SecDef in 2017. Mattis got a waiver by a vote of 81-17 in the Senate and 268-151 in the House, then was passed in the Senate 98-1 (Wikipedia).

But I'm sure there will be...reasons...offered by the GOP why Austin isn't entitled to the same consideration.

He was literally a board member at Raytheon.

Guy who ran missile factory now to lead DoD.

the issue about needing a waiver seems to be that he hasn't been on the Board of a 'Defense' Contractor long enough ...

Must be nice to work on a project cradle to grave. First he got to manage the creation of a bunch of drone fired missiles, now he'll get a hand in picking what population centers in the middle east they'll be fired into.

I got the finals. Had to go to the state site for Missouri.

Biden 82,077,891
Trump 75,133,738
Jorgensen 1,900,040
Hawkins 412,165 plus a few write ins not yet counted.

The Wikipedia page on the 2020 Presidential Election includes D.C.
and that might explain the differences from the source you use.

Remember MSM's non-probe of Hunter Biden's payment from China?? "Ten percent for The Big Guy"
Remember how Twitter blocked the NY Post's tweets about Hunter's laptop??

Di Dongsheng, an associate dean of the School of International Studies at Renmin University in Beijing, said that China has long influenced policy in the U.S. thanks to “old friends” in top levels of government and financial institutions, but that Trump’s administration has thwarted efforts to exert recent influence.

This is from a video clip which we are told was deleted from Chinese social media:

Di Dongsheng said:

“For the past 30 years, 40 years, we have been utilizing the core power of the United States ….after 2008, the status of Wall Street has declined, and more importantly, after 2016, Wall Street can’t fix Trump.”

“But now we’re seeing Biden was elected. The traditional elite, the political elite, the establishment, they’re very close to Wall Street,”

The neocons and warmongers are in the wings, salivating. They are known to exploit either side of the uni-party, from the top.

“White progressives training their fire on women and women of color who are under consideration to lead the nat sec departments makes me deeply uncomfortable about their allyship for those communities,” tweeted MSNBC contributor Mieke Eoyang. “Especially when the nat sec community is dominated by white men.”

It’s only going to get dumber from here, folks.

Let’s clear this up before the girl power parade starts: the first woman to head the US war machine will not be a groundbreaking pioneer of feminist achievement. She will be a mass murderer who wears Spanx. Her appointment will not be an advancement for women, it will be imperialism in pumps.
