We know who the 305th military intelligence guy is because they can’t redact PDFs correctly

Name is blacked out in text, but meta data clearly states "Declaration of Josh Merritt".

Lol nice work Kraken.

Also, this "intelligence expert" claims to be from the 305th. It's a training battalion for soldiers who haven't yet specialized.

The unit is not involved in any post-election missions supporting the White House -- a move that would be highly unlikely considering it's an entry-level training battalion where new soldiers who haven't yet picked up their military occupational specialty are assigned.

Video evidence, as opposed to talking heads, of electoral improprieties from the Georgia Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing.

Starts about 11 minutes in.

https://youtu.be/xg1JnzBqAkk
That's testimony of improprieties in procedure but on my cell screen I can't see on the security cam recordings what's actually being done. I quit the 6 hour vid shortly after Rudi G showed up around the 42 minute mark. Care to share a timeline with appropriate highlights?

The video evidence lasts around 15 minutes. As far as I can tell the description given by the witness matches the video. The layout of the room isn't immediately obvious from the four screens, but if you watch short sections it appears that people move from one screen to the other consistent with the clips being synchronous. The timestamps appear to match up with the night in question. I can't give you a better timeline than that given by the witness tbh.

Video challenged at the moment--what is the alleged impropriety?

They claim that the video shows conspirators, once the room has cleared, bringing out a hidden suitcase of fraudulent ballots to be counted.

The video itself is quite dull. It shows a poll worker rolling a box of ballots across the room.

I the video doesn't show any fraud unless you accept as an article of faith that the box of ballots seen are fraudulent, for which there is no evidence.

The manner in which they're counted is the evidence that they may be fraudulent.

The claim is that ballot counting took place while there were no watchers in the room, that's the impropriety. If the ballots weren't fraudulent then an alternative explanation is required for why they were counted without watchers present.

Isn't that what they have to prove first of all?

I can see there being all sorts of administrative stuff that needs to be done with the ballots and so on.

The claim is that poll watchers were instructed to leave. Is there evidence of this?

Election official is claiming that poll watchers left because they mistakenly thought counting was over for the day. Counting the ballots involves separate steps of opening envelopes and verifying ballots, then actually feeding ballots into the counter. When all the opening was done, in front of observers, a bunch of poll workers left and the observers mistakenly believed this meant that work was done for the night.

Election workers known as "cutters" because their job was to open absentee ballot envelopes and verify ballots for eventual scanning and counting were dismissed for the night sometime after 10 p.m. on November 3, 2020, because their work for the evening had been completed, he explained. Those workers who remained were responsible for conducting the scanning portion of the process, since ballots could not be left without being scanned overnight.

It seems obvious that policy would not recommend leaving opened ballots unattended overnight. Poll workers did their job to ensure that all votes were counted in a timely and responsible manner consistent with the law.

State law allows for poll watchers, but doesn't require them. Sucks that their conspiracy crew was too incompetent to do their jobs correctly, but poll workers have no duty to wait on these morons to mosey back in the morning.

Nobody told them to stay. Nobody told them to leave. Nobody gave them any advice on what they should do. And It was still open for them or the public to come back in to view at whatever time they wanted to, as long as they were still working.

I wonder how you will react when it doesn't happen. Will it cause you to reexamine your assumptions to see where you made a mistake? That certainly wouldn't be Donald Trump's style, and I suspect it isn't your style, either.

Answered weeks ago. I'd (be surprised to) see the amount of fraud was less than I thought, and move on.

Yeah, moving on is not really the best way to handle this.
Can I suggest that it might be more productive to re-evaluate your opinion of the sources that you relied on, which were so spectacularly wrong, and also consider the cognitive biases that led you to trust them in the first place?

Nothing wrong with a bit of reflection and re-examination. That's how you learn stuff, and, as Meadmaker points out, enables you to avoid making the same kinds of mistake in the future.

So, another classic case of pro-Trump election watchers being too lazy and stupid to find out how the election worked, then too lazy and stupid to stay around to watch a process they were perfectly welcome to stay for, and then crying foul when they saw anything going on that they didn't understand, which was basically everything? Colour me unsurprised; that seems to be the whole truth behind absolutely every allegation of poll rigging so far.

At least this CTist isn't yeeted out of her mind while making public allegations of vote fraud.

Seems that most people online are speculating that she was drunk, but it struck me more immediately as the rambling of a pill-popper.

I can't believe that some kind of substance abuse isn't involved there. Does law school not teach budding attorneys that it's a good idea to have your star witness turn up sober?

Well, Rudy's at the wheel. What he learned at law school got dumped from his mind some time back now.

I stopped believing the rabbit was really in the hat when my age was still single digits.

There's no sound on the recorded video. So there's no evidence other than the testimony that I'm aware of. It seems at least possible that an instruction to the cutters
may have been misinterpreted as an instruction to everyone in the room.

I think it's far more like that the cause was poor training and miscommunication than anyone being a moron but whatever. It nevertheless allowed counting to continue without watchers being present. Georgia State law may be fine with that, but that doesn't mean that Georgians don't recognise it as an opportunity for fraud and expect a closing the loophole in future.

Oh, if only substance abuse was the only problem...

https://www.deadlinedetroit.com/art...witness_mellissa_carone_has_a_criminal_record

"Carone, 33, was sentenced to 12 months of probation for [a computer crime] in September 2019, stemming from an incident in November 2018.
The mother of two had struck a plea deal with Michigan prosecutors, who in turn dropped a first-degree obscenity charge against her. ...
Carone's criminal past is the latest public blunder for Giuliani as he attempts to prove alleged election fraud."

Its a clown show alright
