How the hell can you spot his grip from that? He looks like an old man with a terrible swing that could only be compensated for by a killer short game. Either that or he cheats.
The position of his gloved hand gives it away. It's quite clear.

TRUMP TWEETS
@FoxNews daytime is virtually unwatchable, especially during the weekends. Watch @OANN, @newsmax, or almost anything else. You won’t have to suffer through endless interviews with Democrats, and even worse!

I think Biden might be gunning for MBS over the Khashoggi murder. They're also probably pretty worried
Just go for it!
That's an awesome typo! At least I hope it's a typo.It would be naive to think we don't need a relationship with Saudi Arabia. However, Saudi has lot of princess. We don't need a relationship with MBS.
President Donald Trump said Sunday he was “ashamed” for endorsing the Republican governor of Georgia after he lost in the state to Democrat Joe Biden. Trump has seethed over losing the southern state, which hadn’t voted for a Democrat for president in nearly 30 years...Trump said on Fox News that Gov. Brian Kemp has “done absolutely nothing” to question the state’s results. Trump has made baseless accusations that illegal votes cost him the election in Georgia and beyond. His legal challenges have failed in several states. Trump backed Kemp’s campaign in 2018, boasting that his “full endorsement” helped him edge rising Democrat Stacey Abrams. US News & World report article

For Donny, probably about a corgi.Really, how low can you go?
Incredible story, except that it's perfectly fitting for the Trump admin...
Yes, it is.I have to be reminded of the fable where the scorpion stings his tortoise “ride” across the stream, “Because it’s just in his nature”.
Incredible to me is how blind/naive these folks are up to the point they get stabbed in the back by Trump. It’s so clearly “...just in his nature.”
Yes, it is.
I know I repeat myself, but even after five years I still am not able to even vaguely understand the Trump phenomenon.
That right-wing populism could succeed in the US? Sure, why not? It works in a number of European countries, so why not in the US.
But comparing Trump to "my" populist leaders in Belgium, the differences are just staggering. Contrary to Trump, our populist leaders:
1. are literate, talk in full sentences, in correct Dutch;
2. if they are corrupt, they don't show it, and certainly don't brag about it;
3. they are capable to show human feelings;
4. they understand the nitty gritty of politics;
5. they actually work hard in parliament or city council (don't do much good imho, but it's not that they play golf all the time);
6. the fights they pick mostly make some sense (from their point of view).
(Same for say, Salvini in Italy, or Marine Le Pen in France.)
I never would vote for them, I despise them as much as I despise Trump, but at least I can understand why someone who thinks that his/her world is about to be taken over by the "others" sees them as a political saviour.
How on earth so many people became cultists for such a dumb, unappealing, narcissistic, ridiculous figure as Trump? Never got it, still don't.

That difference might explain that is easier for a populist to gain power in the US than in Western Europe. It doesn't explain the million of Trump cultists (I mean the person Trump).The difference is that the US does not have the social safety nets that most of Europe has. When the economy isn't working for you and education is so expensive it's out of reach, you are just screwed. We have a huge group of our population left behind by the technology, information and financial economies and no prospects for improving their lot. At the same time wealth is increasing but wages are mostly stagnant Donald Trump is the rock these people threw through our window.
I listed some differences between the political leaders.Because you are missing the obvious answer: racism
Everything you said makes perfect sense, and so obviously something is missing. And what you didn't bring up was the fact that he is just as racist as they are.
Something like 70% of trumpets believe that white, christian men are the most discriminated against group in the US. More than black people, more than women. And, in fact, they believed that to be the case back in 2017 when Trump was literally trying to ban Muslims from entering the country. But no, the real victims are white, christian men.
I don't know all the Trump supporters in the world, but of the Trump supporters I know, the one thing they have in common is that they are highly racist (that's my family, by the way).
I mean, how else could small town midwest people claim that NYC gold toilet Trump is "one of us"? What is it that he has in common with them? Working class christian values? I don't think so....
That's indeed a real difference. And may explain why precisely a Trumplike figure can pull it off.You might have to take a closer look at the religious/conservative/science denier angle.
For many right-wingers, accepting unfavorable facts is a kind of selling-out: if you are letting your opponents challenge you on your lies, you are letting them get the better of you. Better to lie and ignore reality than to admit that others are right when they criticize you.
Trump is their True Defender, since he is willing to sacrifice his credibility, shame, morality and honesty to Make America Great Again.
Trump lying and being ridiculous is proof of his commitment to The Cause.
