Anybody else getting bad vibes about what is going on in the Mideast right now?
This could get very bad very fast.

If it turns out it is MOSSAD or anything to do with Israel the pressure will really be on. What if Trump punts the issue to Biden?

It could get ugly quickly.

who else would it be? when we assassinated an Iranian it was very public.

One and a half minute video of President Trump playing golf:

Looking at his setup and swing, he doesn't look like the scratch man he claims to be and much more like a "happy hacker".

He has a very "strong" grip - likely to compensate for weak and/or small hands (I had that fault as a young teenager, I now have a neutral grip) but to compensate his swing plane is out to in.

In other words his grip will tend to make him hook the ball so he compensates with a swing plane which would make him slice the ball. He also has an enormous amount of body movement.

I realise that he's not in the first flush of youth and that he is less flexible and not as strong as he once was, but I've played with a lot of Septuagenarians who were good golfers in their youth (and who are still pretty handy) and they still *look* like good golfers.

We all know that his tales of golfing prowess are lies and exaggerations, but c'mon man, try at least to look the part.

I guess you have to own the course to get away with so many practice swings on the tee?

I’ve always thought he looked lumbering as he swung a club.

Guess the USA has fully opted for siding openly with Sunni Arabs. Aren't they just the "n'ISIS" guys? Arabs, not Turks, and Sunni, not Shiite, are "true" Muslims, as God intended.

Meanwhile, as Evangelicals celebrate the anointing of pre-Armageddon Israel, the reality on the ground is that the Israelis are the only remaining force able to counter Turks and Shiites in the region, the USA having essentially been swept from the board, and thus the realignments taking place with Arab Sunnis and Israel. It's Pompeo and the US who carry Bibi's coattails now, content with smiling from the back of the line, while dreaming of nuclear explosions... and Jesus.

BBC article suggests the Iranians aren't going to rush to action precisely because they see this as a deliberate act of provocation:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-55111064

These are weeks which matter - the countdown to 20 January when President-elect Biden takes office with a new approach to Iran, including an expected return to the 2015 nuclear deal.

This assassination follows the not-so-secret meeting last week in Saudi Arabia between the Saudi foreign minister and Israeli prime minister - officially denied by the kingdom. It sent another signal that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Benjamin Netanyahu see this window as their last best chance in a while to try to inflict a crippling blow on their arch-enemy Iran - a blow to also complicate an already challenging course for a new US team to re-engage with the Islamic Republic.

All sides know it's also a moment fraught with risk. Iran's President Rouhani declares Iran is "too wise to fall into Israel's trap".

An immediate retaliation risks an even greater reply, and a descent into even greater crisis which could imperil any chance of a new start in January.

Not even worth putting in the Conspiracy Theory section (I never go there), but it's not even too wild to speculate that The PDJT had some hand in this, in order to distract from his bad press, and losing.

Or to make it as hard as possible to reinstate Obama's deal with Iran.

President Trump would never understand your advice. He believes he is so awesomely amazing that it is not possible for him to change any part of his golf game to look more skillful , adept, or beautiful.

TRUMP TWEETS

@FoxNews daytime is virtually unwatchable, especially during the weekends. Watch @OANN, @newsmax, or almost anything else. You won’t have to suffer through endless interviews with Democrats, and even worse!

Really, how low can you go?

How the hell can you spot his grip from that? He looks like an old man with a terrible swing that could only be compensated for by a killer short game. Either that or he cheats.

I'm going to deeply ponder the dilemma your last sentence poses. I may consult world class experts to inform my decision. Stand by .....

Or to make it as hard as possible to reinstate Obama's deal with Iran.

That would also be my guess.

I imagine Netanyahu first worked with Trump and Saudi Arabia, to make them all look like peacemakers. However Trump lost, so Netanyahu has to do as much dirty work as possible now before Biden takes the presidency and can threaten Netanyahu with sanctions (more so if Netanyahu is convicted for receiving bribes)

I imagine there is quite a lot of dirty work going on in other countries at the moment, as Trump is obviously distracted and Biden can't do anything.
