Allegations of Fraud in 2020 US Election

Well, yeah, but only 'cuz California!

Seriously, what is up with people who make that particular brain-dead argument against the popular vote? It not only misses the point of how the popular vote works, it misses the point of how addition works.

People who don't support the popular vote do it because they're afraid of losing power. I'm for going to a popular vote count or perhaps simply subtracting 2 electoral votes from each State. Not as democratic as a popular vote but much closer

Using this process the Electoral vote count for this election would be 206 to 130. It's also time to make Puerto Rico a state which they just voted for again.

The judge's rather scathing text, embedded in the tweet, is worth a read.

Christ on a ******* bike. The Republican observers didn't bother turning up to the walk through to find out how the count worked, then on the day they hadn't got a clue what was going on, right? So they wanted the result thrown out because they were lazy and incompetent?

Shocking but not surprising.

Well they are Trump supporters, lazy and incompetent is par for the course.

Are you really not aware? This may be an example of different sides sharing different sets of facts:

So, the lawyers and their clients have been getting harassed, put on lists etc and people are trying to make them unemployable.

Wait a sec.

You said this:
Wasn't the Lincoln Project handing out the names and contact detail of their staff and clients and encouraging people to harass them? This is not a good thing.

I don't see anything in the article about handing out names and contact details.

What do you mean, no idea?

I'm assuming the lawsuits are a tool to some end. As far as I'm aware Trump is a big picture guy.

Trump is only a "big picture guy" if said big picture is a giant portrait of Donald Trump.

1. You failed to provide that link initially. You don't get to assume people are aware of all things everywhere and then get pissy when you're called on it.
2. You mischaracterized what was actually done.
3. Now, you're doubling down with your last sentence. Congratulations on not learning the lesson.

I didn't mischaracterize what was done, see above. I don't blame you folks for not knowing. This doesn't seem to be getting any coverage in left wing media, so how would you know? It looks like the reason the lawyers are leaving is because they are being targeted for political harassment. All this makes it easier for Trump to craft an exit where he blames his political enemies for losing. It's self defeating.

Calling out lawyers for spreading lies in court is not an objectionable practice.

Oh, it's better than that.

All that is true, but at least some of the observers only showed up after a Republican call went out that they needed more observers very late Tuesday night as it appeared that Trump's edge in Michigan was shrinking due to the counting of votes in Detroit.

So, literally, as they saw the numbers starting to turn, they got on the phone, called them up, and said get down to Cobo Hall to keep an eye on the Democrats because we think bad things are happening.

In other words, these untrained election observers showed up in the middle of the night after being told that the election was being stolen. In such circumstances, of course they are going to start "seeing" all sorts of election fraud.

It's not self defeating, it's hilarious. Being laughed out of court by a judiciary they spent years stacking with conservatives, but that's also somehow the liberals fault.

I think he should craft an exit that starts with he didn't get as many votes as Biden.

"Blah, blah, blah defend the rule of law, blah, blah, blah.... I see no problem with harassing lawyers to try and prevent someone getting legal representation". It's this attitude that makes it easy for Trump supporters to see themselves as the good guys. You're frightening when you think you have power.

It's not about being laughed out of court, it's about it being absolutely unacceptable that he should have legal representation and a harassment campaign being organized against the lawyers.

Oh, and it's self defeating because it allows him to say that not only did they cheat in the election but the system is so corrupt and they are so wicked that they harassed my legal team so that they quit and prevented me showing the fraud. I'm really not sure that he expects to win in court. It's hearts and minds and this may help him feed the impression that he's been cheated. Also it's just a wicked thing to do, we allow child rapists to have legal representation. The actual Nazis were allowed legal representation.

No, it's about being laughed out of court in pretty hilarious ways, and rightfully so. And these lawyers bringing frivolous lawsuits and being ridiculed are wrong and bad at their jobs. And Trump isn't a victim being denied legal representation, he's wasting time feeding delusions that he won an election he lost.

And it's been going on far too long.
